I was eating as I watched this, a vegan crunchwrap that was tasty and filling... but my hunger has still amped up to 11 after looking at all this deliciousness. @Det Nine LOL....that is the first time that anyone has ever said that to me. I say it in situations where there is nothing that you can do with the situation. So I just say it is what it is because there is nothing else to be said or done. How interesting. I know the nails on the chalkboard though...I am a retired teacher. It drives me bananas whenever people make up words that don't exist by adding a suffix onto it. We all have our idiosyncrasies. LOL It sure is a good thing that God loves us anyway!
I found that Melt has a definite coconut taste. Which isn't bad and I reserve them to my baking (when I bake). Love the cake, I've had similar issues. LOL Now to continue my recipe collecting and praying my back allows me to stand for more than 20 minutes. Congratulations on both fronts, hun! So happy for you!

I make a version of this cheese sauce/spread. It's the first recipe from Joanne Stepaniak's 'Uncheese Cookbook'. She calls it Gee Whiz Spread and uses white beans instead of cashews. I messed up the tofu chicken but ended up with some delicious tofu crumbles.

Excellent video and hacks & recipe's for the vegan lifestyle. There's new vegan products coming out regularly in the UK. I intend to focus on a vegan whole plants foods lifestyle with the occasional vegan junk food. Those vegan burgers and the vegan Big Mac look great and tasty.😋 That vegan cake certainly would satisfy my sweet tooth.

I love melt buttery sticks. They taste less greasy/oily to me in baked goods than earth balance but I can see how the quick melting might be a problem for some recipes.
I guess I just have to learn the qwerks :-) It's awesome that they are quite widely available. I remember the days when trying to find vegan butter in stores required special trips to special stores and when you got there, there was a 50/50 chance they were sold out!
I absolutely love your channel! As a Thai person, so many vegan recipes are more geared towards western palates and I struggle to really enjoy the meals, but your channel has really encouraged me to find ways to veganise the food I grew up with rather than try to eat foods I'm not accustomed to.
You could have served A little lemon curd sauce on the plate for extra swiping/garnish. 😋 Maybe next time. Anyways the cake looked good enough to eat to me.
