Thanks for all the motivation, it's really appreciated. I'm 16, 5'8, 190 lbs, Sophomore in High School. Want to be a tight end or RB, maybe even O line, I've never played middle school of high school ball, but this video gives me hope.
Thanks for all the tips.
Bro your 5,8 I would either be a rb or a wr
Make a part 3 because your giving me more motivation to walk on to one of the colleges I’m going to this Fall💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

@@TFJ2024 a 4.5 will get you a shot but they might get you in the weight room before starting you

Did walk on at a juco in east La. Had to move back to vegas for family issues. Seeing this for me inspired to try out for a MW division school near me. Thank u for giving me hope again 🙏🏽
6’7” 205 Gator tryna walk on whenever they have the next tryouts. Wish me luck, following in your footsteps. Been training TE.

Never Got On The Field For A Play, During A Game.
GREAT Story Tho, Had To Have Been AWESOME !
Ngl I’ll be 23 and April but this all i needed to hear gang watch this
5’6 - 5’7 190 currently. I played right guard all 4 years in high school and it sounds crazy for my height and weight playing at right guard but overtime I built that strength and resistance to those bigger than me because everybody on the o line and on the other side of the ball were way bigger than me, but obviously I was kuu ugh ch faster than all of them and I had strength so that helped me with bringing guys down 3x bigger than me. I know I most likely won’t be able to play guard especially at the d1 level, so I was looking at playing running back at the d1 level for South Carolina gamecocks. I know I most likely won’t start right away but I was really looking into the running back position. Only thing that is shaking me up a little and pushing me up against the wall is the financial part of college, the financial aid, because I was doing some searching and I seen that not getting a scholarship and being a walk on you still gotta pay and I don’t know how I’m gonna do it. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Tryna live your story. The 1 year grind did a huge difference good difference fs for you dammmmm
I walked on the Penn State football team as a kicker and I still play I love it my number is 98
Bro I’m 6’2 230lbs 23 years old never played. What position should I try to walk on for? And do you think I’m too old or it’s too late since I’ve never even played football before?
I know this is late but you would make a great linebacker or defensive end and walking on is an amazing experience
My dream school bruh
hey you ever feel like walk ons are free disposable labor for these coaches? I've even heard coaches say that if a walk on gets hurt in practice they don't lose anything.. Or a lot of times did you feel like a punching bag at practice ?
I’m 17 5’7” 175, i played backup WR, starting TE and DL but quit after my sophomore season due to coaching issues (not going into detail) do you think I have a chance to make it as a walk on? ik im a little undersized but i played football for 10 yrs
Hey bro I graduated high school this yearand got no offers and to be honest I’m a humble guy but I genuinely don’t think these guys who get offers in my state are better then me. But yeah I got none but I’m going to a community college for track. So my question to you is when I get a scholarship for track at D1 could I try out for the football team?
Part 3
Hey, currently going into my sophomore year and have been thinking about trying out for the football team at Texas tech. I’m
6’0 250 and I played football from 6th grade up until freshman year of high school. What do u think the chance are for me to make the tryouts and any advice u can give? I’d appreciate anything, much love.
I tried walking on at a trash D2 in New Mexico called Eastern. I ran a 4.3 at the tryout and they still didn’t take me ): Lmaoooo
Is the only way to get a scholarship as a walk on, if the team terminates a players scholarship and gives it to the walk on or how?
That or sometimes they may have a few scholarships left based on the size of the roster! The max a team can have is 120 and the max for scholarship players are 85! They may have some left, they’ll either never tell and surprise you or tell you straight up you’re getting one after a certain period of time!

@@aronmedrano2720 Don’t worry bout what others think, how others train. Control YOUR narrative, focus on you and block out any outside noise that you even think will stop you. And if that means stepping away from friends or so for a lil while so be it. One thing about it, it’ll help understand what it’s like to sacrifice! 💪🏾
@@TheCliffordShow thank you, right now I’m a senior who has played since my 8th grade year with no looks or interests so walk on is looking like the most likely path
Aye bro, did you make it to the NFL draft? Or you didn't wanna go into it? I'm at MTSU right now trying to tryout for college football as a Junior and I talked to my college's football office and I gave them my name and phone number so the coaches can contact me, so I'm gonna wait for them to call me back to see if there's a date that I can tryout for college football whenever it's available again. I'm gonna try and see if I can get to the top level, the NFL, after college. That's one career path that I'm looking at right now. I'm majoring in Economics while minoring in Health and Physical Education right now. I now know that a lot of college football players study normal things like what I'm studying right now while they're in college while they're playing college football at the same time, that's crazy to be honest, I didn't know that, I just found out. I thought they would usually major in Sports-related majors while playing college football at the same time, but most of them study normal things while they're still in college. I know about these 2 dudes, Darius Harris who is a linebacker and Reed Blakenship who is a safety who played at my college, MTSU, that are now in the NFL. Darius Harris signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent since the 2019 season and he's still with them. He already won the 2020 Super Bowl for the 2019 season with the Chiefs in 2020 and Reed Blakenship is a rookie who was an undrafted free agent who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles after he graduated last year in 2022. They're both going to play in the Super Bowl this year in 2023 for the 2022 NFL season! Reed Blankenship is just a rookie and it's crazy how he made it to the Super Bowl his very 1st season in the NFL! 😳😮 Darius Harris is going to the Super Bowl AGAIN for a 3rd time in 4 years! Anything is possible! 💯 The Kansas City Chiefs are my favorite NFL team by the way! 😉 Patrick Mahomes is the GOAT! 🐐🔴⚪🔥👏👍💪💯
Cool story, Did you ever get into a game at all ?
Once, for kickoff!
I commented on part 1 but I’ll paste it now that found this because it’s newer so it’s more likely to be seen: I’m 15 but looking to play at uf as that’s the school I’ve planned on attending since I was little. I’m only 5’5ish and projected to grow maybe 3 more inches. Would it still be possible for me to ever walk on despite my height if I ever get to that point?
Most likely as a running back yes

it’s gotta be center 😂
I still can’t believe they had me playing center 🤣
How much does it cost
Hey I'm a freshman with no prior experience in football, at all. It's getting to be the end of the year and I really want to start playing as a sophomore next year, but how can I join my hs football team as a 5'4 120 lbs freshman with no experience in football? Do I have a chance?
Anyone does brotha

But you didn't play a single actual game?
Shut up can’t be talking when Tim Tebow was crying cuz he lost the football SEC championship
But you didn't even get any PT though.
O line
my guess was 20/100
on the quiz
Stop playing football boy you are the center
I wanna say you failed it but I think you got a 45
