WELNEY WASH, NORFOLK. ROAD CLOSED, MEANS ROAD CLOSED.

The A1101 road cuts across the welney wash flood plain, and as it floods several times each winter it causes a headache to drivers. a huge detour and lost time, but there are always some drivers who think they can make it through which can lose them their vehicle to the water in some cases. when i visited the electronic water depth gauge said 350mm, you can see its more than that as an abandoned delivery truck shows.
remember, this is one road that if it says road closed, it means "road closed"
