  • When considering the horror of the Holocaust, it’s hard to really imagine the extermination of six million people. And it’s hard to imagine that roughly a quarter of these people, slaughtered like animals, were children. The Children’s Memorial at Yad Vashem helps make it real.

Sorry, I do not understand why people first push God out of their lives, shutting doors of their hearts before His face, and then blame Him for not intervene in the mess we, people, create? Do you expect Him to take for our ear and put to the 'naughty corner' each time we do evil to each other? When we will start learning from the consequences of our choices and actions? Or start show compassion to the other human just like us? What do you expect to see if you or your neighbors live evil way?

I was there several years ago and regret that I did not spend the entire day at YV.. The one regret I had on my visit . THE DC museum is pretty similar , if I remember, but maybe being their in Israel is a far different experience.

Great video Rick. I am from Natal a Brazilian little City. I visited this museum years ago and lost the opportunity to see the children memorial. Your video helped me to complete my experience. By the way, near my city we had a inportant american's base used during the WW II against Hitler forces. The base was called "Parnamirim Field".

When you enter Yad Vashem there are more than one large signs asking you not to take photographs or videos. This is to respect the honor of the people that died in the holocaust and to make sure that they are not used for political reasons or other grounds. I fail to understand why you ignore this request. I can only assume that you are more concerned about getting clicks and likes than you care about the agonies that theses children went through. If it was within my possibilities I would delete this video and your account immediately.

After reading Night, I was left speechless. I no longer believed in god, contrary to the author. It no longer made sense to me. For all those millions of innocent lives lost, with no intervention from God. It was not a deity that freed those people, but other men. There cannot be a God worth worshiping that would allows such a crime to happen, to his "chosen people" no less.

You're not the only one who was changed by Night. That book changed me for keeps. It was the one book that I couldn't forget about or let go even after high school.
