  • Girl Gives Garbage Man Cupcake Every Week Until Dad Follows Him And Sees Why
The garbage truck made its way through their neighborhood every Thursday and stopped at one particular townhouse. The driver would get out of his truck and stand on the side of the street, waiting. But what on earth could he be waiting for?
She watched as three-year-old Brooklyn Andracke approached the man. She wondered what was going on. She quickly got her phone from her bag and started recording the incident.

Very true! Kids are very matter of fact about differences in skin tone. It's like "I have blue shoes and you have red shoes. I have black hair and you have red hair.". None of that is important when making friends.

One of my favorite memories is taking my kids and day care kids to the zoo. It was a very hot day and the fountains were on. There were kids from all ethnic and social backgrounds playing in the water, hugging each other, and making new friends. The Korean preschool teacher standing next to me said "Wouldn't it be wonderful if the whole world was like that?". Amen!

Just recently at a Dionne Warwick concert in which she talked about where we are in this world full of such hate etc,& how what can be done to make it better, so yeah we clapped and her basic reply was something like, "yeah, I know you do", I mean the truth of course we're going clap, cheer, whistle, then she continued, "though what are you going to do about it?" so she gave again just basic paraphrasing, "talk, have small conversations, and really listen to one another." The message that parents from Sandy Hook and the many many others and families say, praying and the whole bit, doesn't stop the mess we are in. WE THE PEOPLE have the control and WE are in the majority of a lot power & we have more in common then not, we have the love of our families, friends etc. I go on these long not rants, just communicating that we put into action our outrage and empathy for our everyday people, who live next door or across the globe. ~hugs to you and your love ones ~ 💕🌍 ❤‍🩹we share this planet and we can learn it is "OURS" 💜

I always appreciated collectors but my little Shepard Rottweiler was not as loving as the little girl because he hate men stealing his belongings. I moved to a golf course community and rarely leave trash because they are so rough on my trash bin I'm always repairing it I trying to be nice by giving them bill taped to the receptor for the holidays but they are still rough and sometimes forget to empty it. Believe it or not it's hard to get a job like that. Some bring in over $90K a year with retirement benefits, twice what I do.

But occasionally there will be one doctor or nurse who think we are bottom of the barrel and are really rude. I was an Administrative Assistant with a 2-year Associates degree. My Boss thought she was special because she had a Masters and a Bachelors degree & she'd often brag about it, but I knew it was intentional to get on my case. I regret before leaving not asking her... did all your degrees make you a better person? I THINK NOT! She badmouthed some of her other employees behind their back (so I have no doubt she did the same about me) she acted as if she was high & mighty and even took credit for something I did. Yeah, all the degrees she had did NOT make her a better person, nor smarter, just more informative in what they studied. I'm just saying this because I'm sure you get that attitude, but it's not just housekeepers. Some people just have that high and mighty attitude toward anyone below them... be it income, status, education, or whatever.

It takes each one of us working as a team in order to take good care of our patients. Please don't think it was because of your job title that you were treated badly. Even as a registered nurse there were many times I was treated badly by physicians and fellow employees. Some people are not nice people, ever. Other times people have problems going on at home and bring that to work with them or just having a bad day. Regardless of the reasons, it's not acceptable to treat each other badly; we all need to treat each other better and with respect.

I realize a man’s hard work should never go unnoticed and especially thinking about when he is doing something that alleviates others from having to do it. Plus when they benefit from it. Sometimes I'll let them jump in and beep the horn or even pull the levers to compact the cardboard. Sometimes the shy ones just stand in the window and they don't think we notice them until we honk and wave at them zooming off and the expressions that we acknowledged them are priceless...so humbling. Just think about it for a bit. Stories like these happen everyday and every hour, they just don't get documented like this. Don't be so disheartened by how terrible most news pushed around is. There are millions of very positive people out there that would go above and beyond to make someone else feel special even if they don't get viral recognition.
Choose to be one of those good individuals as many people will hold onto a memory like this for the rest of their lives.

I feel that one of the worse changes I’ve seen in this generation is how early on kids seem to start losing this innocence. It’s really sad to me. As a tutor who works with kindergarten and elementary school children, I’ve been able to see this innocence in several of the children I’ve worked with. I’ve also been blessed enough to witness several of these children as they entered their teen years and high school. From my experience, I’ve found that the children who retained their innocence the longest and who weren’t forced to “grow up” too soon ended up becoming some of the brightest, kindest, and empathetic teens I’ve known.

Those same people should realize garbagemen are human beings also who have to make a living for themselves and their families. Bless this little girl and her family for showing this garbageman kindness and bless him for doing the same in return.

it's a touching story, but tbh they need to put a stop to that. They don't know these men they're allowing their daughter to interact with. These men are strangers and there are a lot of people in this world that may look and act friendly but harm children.
These are adults are they are not her friends.
now he automatically waits for her if he doesn't see her.
wave from the window. Go out there once a year or so with parents.
