I love the way you rig that crawfish. So simple but I’d have never thought of doing that. I don’t have those specific jigheads or plastics but I have others that I’m pretty sure I can rig up just like that. In the middle of moving but as soon as we get settled I’m going to give it a try
You do a really good job shooting some of these videos solo even on the boat. That's a huge wedding ring. I guess blondie wants to make sure them other girls know you're taken lol
A couple more additions to this excellent list. The Swimmin' Trout Trick on days when the fish aren't super sluggish. They have a profile that is less bulky compared to the 3" Z-Man Minnowz. That seems to make a big difference in colder water. Also the TRD Ticklerz are promising especially for sight casting. I haven't had a chance to use them on a regular basis but when I have they work.
@flatsclass Ca are you using the shimano vanford 2000 size just cause of weight or is the line take up speed play a fact also I have vanford 3000 would it work or is the 36 inchs of line take to fast fir buggs and nedz baits? I also have a bfs reel i use for buggs and ned baits it has a slower line pick up since it has a smaller spool and only holds around 50 yards of 6 lb braid.
Naturally, your info is excellent.
I appreciate that!
Small, Slow, & Scented ... sounds like a plan. 👍
The Ned Shrimpz has been my go to lure for a while now. I’ve caught so many fish on it including tarpon.
During all the seasons of the year or just winter?
It’s definitely a solid sight fishing lure for sure!
Ned shrimp is a killer... have some of the trick shots and need to throw them more! 👍
Thanks for all this info
Thank You For Sharing Your Thoughts And Lure Selections. Best Wishes CA.

What type of know would you use to attach that shrooms head/crawfish bait? A snug knot or a loop knot?
I like to use a snug type knot
Excellent video. Thank you, Captain!
Appreciate you following along 👍🏼
Name and model of the jig head for the salty shrimp and the name of the line you mentioned Capt CA?
Diamond Braid and the Finesse Bulletz from Zman 1/10oz
Some more flyfishing would be much appreciated

Eric- I use the 2000 Vanford because it’s like using a BFS reel… line pick up matters this time of year. Great question!
Instead of the 17MR what about the 14MR ?
Definitely could substitute with the 14MR Minidine… no problem with that strategy
I’m new to channel and salt fishing…. What did you say about tying a short tidbit? What’s that?
Could you comment the vmc football heads size and weight?
