There was some sort of weird audio bug with the encoding I guess, that's why you hear 'old man' at the beginning which is part of the audio from when I was talking about the usher around 9 mins in. Odd, but hardly worth re-uploading the whole thing etc.
hylia is also goddess of motherhood, we convince her to leave the dragon in her temple cause it has children, it is most of her personality.
galawain is also god of nature in its most "savage" aspects (wild doesn't quite cut it), you get his favour by embracing the brutality that nature can have. big predators, killing kin for survival and following the "might makes right"
I think 'wild' fits better when you think of it in the context that people in previous decades used to think of it. Think of old stories and historical media - the 'wild' was, for the majority of history, an utterly amoral, dangerous and terrifying place to think of.
Pillars of Eternity really has a rich and deep lore. Love it.
This channel is one of the hidden gems on youtube. I recently watched your dragon age videos as well and it's nice to see a fresh perspective of those games :D

I tried to get into poe but i really hated the hp / death system i couldnt grasp it .
That's fair, it's a bit clunky

Also thought gods were originally made by melting bunch of souls into 11 people who became gods and were thaoses fellow conspiritors and then acted acording to their god myth rather than meld right kind of people into a god. Tho its long time since playd original pillars, so might be missmembering.
I'm not sure, that's odd. I assume it was part of the audio where I was talking about the Usher half of Berath. Some sort of audio glitch when I did the encoding probably. As for the rest, not as far as I can tell. You only see mentions of the mass sacrifices and the machines doing the rest. No empowerment of 11 specific people or anything.
@@MortismalGaming huh coulda Sworn thaos mentioned something about making plans whit woedica before her becoming a god, but like i said was a long time ago since i last played pillars 1. As for audio glitch eh wouldent worry bout it nothing never goes perfect an imperfections the spice o life or something, well still informative Lore video.
@@MortismalGaming I too understood it as 11 people being ascended into godhood instead of just being created out of nothingness. Kinda like what Sarevok/Irenicus/Amelissan wanted to do in the Baldur's Gate games.
i just got news of the next section of the WOTR beta is released today. also i never got my sacred weapon question answered. if you flick it on; are the numbers weapon + stat plus sacred bonus or sacred + stat. it seems weak if it's the latter. it would cap out as just 20 flat damage per hit
