Fantastic video. Lucas seems like an incredibly competent voice to guide the process. Kudos, Ian, for not hijacking the session and taking it where you wanted it to go! Takes some restraint. Can't wait for my own fitting, now!
Ian, thank you for including the poor shots in the beginning so we could see a real progression. In a world of “perfect” content this was a breath of fresh air. A lot of good insights I haven’t heard before and definitely enjoyed the matter of fact nature of this video.
Outstanding video. Great to see the true fitting process without any mention of marketing fluff. Just a couple golf nerds going through the process of getting better 👏
always love the miss and correction philosophy. and the fact that shorter shaft gave you the same ball speed based on quality of strike, cant wait tto see more
Great video Ian. The conversation with Lucas about "misaligned intentions" really hits home to me. Nearly all faults and subsequent corrections to my game over the past 5 years have been due to some variation of an alignment issue. It's not fun, but need to spend massive effort to ensure that where I think I am aiming is where I am set up to aim and where I actually try to make the club go. Overlaying the fitting perspective on this issue was also interesting.
Great video Fraz, really brave to do what I call “leaving ego at the door”. I’ve been a victim of compensating my swing to play the shafts and clubheads my idols do. Completely to the detriment of my golf game. As I mentioned, really brave especially with your depth of knowledge to allow another fitter steer you in a slightly different direction. Bravo
To me this felt like your best fitting video to date. Loved seeing not selling on the GT but taking whatever driver you've chosen and really dialing into what "fits" the best. Noone makes bad clubs anymore, get your length, shaft, swing weight and tee height correct and the rest is all personal preference. Great video Fraz loving the new channel
Ian it’s great that you linked confidence in the bay and lack of it on the course. I find that I can swing well in the sim and on the practice range but, not from lack of practice, I can’t take it to the course and in frustrates the hell out of me!!
The 44 1/2 inch length makes total sense to me as I believe you play your fairway woods shorter and also bag a Mini driver , I have also gone the way of the Mini which helped my driver so much , I either run a full length Auto Flex for the down wind and/or wide fairways and the Mini or a 44 1/2 inch driver and no mini . I enjoyed this video the best so far !!! keep them coming !!!
This is the fitting video I have been waiting for. I’ve been fitted for a driver but felt something was off. On a whim when the tsr3 went on sale chatted with titlest and decided to try a 1/2” shorter driver and lighter shaft. The results were amazing. A fairway finder but didn’t lose distance. I felt more fitters should look at shaft length but unfortunately don’t have shafts in a verity of lengths and ability to adjust head weights back to appropriate swing weights too. Great video and hope to get to TPI one day.
Absolutely love this content, prob my fav video in a while. Had a similar experience with a new driver, had trouble squaring it up ...living in the bottom half of the face and having a high fade miss. As someone that draws the ball it was a shock to the system. Went back to a TSi3 at 45" and it was great.....measured out the new driver and it was over 1/2" longer (and heavier swing weight). On a whim I lopped off that 1/2" and I can now find the middle of the face and much tighter dispersion on target.
Oh boy!! Mikey is off the back of the milk carton!! My liege has found him!!! Get the band back together please!! Great video as always. The pointing direction drill was very interesting and informative.
Fascinating vid Ian. I've had a few fittings in the past and shaft length has never been a main topic. I've sort of fell into using a shorter shaft by dabbling with different shafts and lengths myself. Keep up the excellent work 👏
Great content Ian 👏🏾 Loved the in depth talk about swing direction and how that influences aim and intent. Fantastic fitting 👏🏾 Will definitely be watching this another 2-3 times over.
Talk about going to worship at the Titleist golf church! ITotally bought into your work on this series to go to true elite game. I'm/we're on this journey with ya Ian! Go, go, go, gooooo!
I play it at 44.75" but in my experience the swingweight has to be redone for every shaft and length change, not just recalculated, but re-fitted for this new dynamic setup. (I'm not a fitter, this is how I "fit" myself, first see if shaft/head combo can be hit at all on the range, then I try different weights, then take them out on the course and see the patterns there, and also how they change over a round. If I have to switch shafts the corresponding weights will be changed too, have the Callaway weight kit from 2g to 18g in 2g increments plus a 5g and leadtape if I need something inbetween, takes time but results have been good, very happy with my setup now)
Super useful video. I wish fittings in general were at this level. I appreciate I'm a higher handicap but it can feel either pushy and dismissive. Wish you were local to us in Aus Fras, or TPI itself.
A real educated fitter not afraid to tell just a golfer he ain’t as good as he thinks he is in the perfect way. Ian ain’t the guy, he’s the “fairway finder” in the scramble, funny the master fitter shows up with the DEAD wrong driver lol … good video. Ego hurts your score….
Just wanted to say, nice work on the intro! The dial showing which of the foundations the video will cover is a nice touch and the song choice is smart.
Great video. Gives me some ideas to test out next season. I have the same problem. Can’t take my range game to the course and it’s so frustrating. Can hit a warmup bucket of balls right on target. Then walk to the first tee and proceed to hit blocks and hooks all over the course with 2/14 fairways hit. Go back to the range to work on the issue and immediately hit it perfectly fine again.
Great video. It is good to see shaft length changes and the effect. 😂 Ian is just like us and can have some big misses. Now I need to go find a tensie 1k blue playing 44.5. Have a gt2 and gt3 and ventus red and blue plus. In need a fitting like this.
Ian, can any ol handicap golfer get instruction at TPI? From the physical assessment to the force plates & 3D body, it's something I can't find anywhere else.
How can an average Joe like me get fit into a shorter driver? Would a club champion/true spec offer this to try? Would hate shortening a shaft and adding weight as there is no going back
I’m 5’ 8” and I’ve been on a 44 7/8 build since switching to graphite . I tried going longer and I hit it outta the heel and bottom all day. Oems are killing then avg amateur with damn near 46” off the rack . Use actual weight to make swing weight not length.
I’ve been fortunate to be fitted probably 10 times at TPI and found shorter clubs throughout my bag improved my strike pattern and consistency. Curious Ian if you’ll try to make any other changes in club length thru your bag and if this will improve your game? Great video look for to many more!!
No, not in the slightest. The decision I made for was for my family. It has completely changed our lives and has allowed them to have a beautiful life. When I moved to Canada from Scotland in 2011 I came over here with nothing. My wife and I left our closest friends and family behind with a goal of creating a special life for ourselves. Fast forward 10 years and we get the chance to sell what we had created for an incredible sum of money, it was an absolute no brainer. The future is bright and now that we are back in control our the big decisions in our lives I’m looking forward to creating some really special with The Fraser Golf Institute.
Appreciate the honest response. If I recalll correctly I do not remember hearing it was about the money when you joined CC. Although most of your subscribers knew why.
You’re talking to the guy that either has or has had every Driver ever invented. Lol I’ve had Ping Drivers and haven’t hit them well. My goal is to find a Driver that helps me deliver the club more consistently.
My Liege. Have you ever considered putting out your own golf equipment (clubs) especially with 3D printing capabilities these days? I’d be interested to see what you’d come up with.
Now that was a great fitting with a GREAT fitter! And even a bit of a lesson thrown in. Personally I NEVER get fit, for a single club or a full set, unless it’s outdoors with a Trackman. 😉🏌️♂️
Fantastic video. Lucas seems like an incredibly competent voice to guide the process. Kudos, Ian, for not hijacking the session and taking it where you wanted it to go! Takes some restraint. Can't wait for my own fitting, now!

Love how the Titleist fitters talk elements, not just pushing marketing buzz words
by the time you are at TPI, you don't need to be sold stuff.
Love all the random Mikey cameos in the far background hahahahaha
and the flashing red light back by the shipping bay!
He loves the camera!! 😂
Outstanding video. Great to see the true fitting process without any mention of marketing fluff. Just a couple golf nerds going through the process of getting better 👏

One of your better videos from either channel. Was really cool watching the process of you getting dialed in.
WELL DONE IAN!! Thank you for showing the true swing faults and working through the process
Ian it’s great that you linked confidence in the bay and lack of it on the course. I find that I can swing well in the sim and on the practice range but, not from lack of practice, I can’t take it to the course and in frustrates the hell out of me!!
I want a session with Lucas! Love this content, Ian. And glad to see Mikey Boi video-bomb you...

Ian Fraser - the gift to golf that keeps on giving. World class.
Saying “delta“ instead of “difference“ sounds so much smarter. I’m impressed.
Love this sort of content. TPI sessions seem like tremendous fun!
This is the fitting video I have been waiting for. I’ve been fitted for a driver but felt something was off. This was amazing! More of this communication should get included into fittings i feel like.
Lucus is great, he fit me at TPI and was phenomenal
Absolutely love this content, prob my fav video in a while.

Best one yet. Big fan of Lucas. Fit me please 🙏
I spy a Mikey...
Your swing just got more consistent and better aligned through this test. product aside!
Great content Ian 👏🏾 Loved the in depth talk about swing direction and how that influences aim and intent. Fantastic fitting 👏🏾
Will definitely be watching this another 2-3 times over.
A REAL TOUR FITTING…
…wisdom galore
Talk about going to worship at the Titleist golf church! ITotally bought into your work on this series to go to true elite game. I'm/we're on this journey with ya Ian! Go, go, go, gooooo!

Great video. Glad to see the new channel up and going.
This was so good, perfection in the net is so different to the course. It’s the score that counts not the numbers.
Super useful video. I wish fittings in general were at this level. I appreciate I'm a higher handicap but it can feel either pushy and dismissive. Wish you were local to us in Aus Fras, or TPI itself.
That was fun, to see Ian in class with eyes wide open (going wow, yes)!!! Now go see Greg Rose and Dave Phillips,
A real educated fitter not afraid to tell just a golfer he ain’t as good as he thinks he is in the perfect way.
The things I would do to go to this place and get a fitting from both of you guys
TXG 2.0 Great work !
Mikey just chilling in the background. Loving the new content, you've recaptured the TXG magic.
Impressive, shows that regardless of skill and knowledge level, everyone of us can improve
Great video. It is good to see shaft length changes and the effect. 😂 Ian is just like us and can have some big misses. Now I need to go find a tensie 1k blue playing 44.5. Have a gt2 and gt3 and ventus red and blue plus. In need a fitting like this.
Great fitter👍
Love this. Mikey just popping his head in the background too 😂 When is Mikey getting on the channel properly?
2:41 Geez Ian! Is that a Rapsodo MLM2 Pro in your pocket or are you just excited to hit better drives 😮😅😂
Ego is the golfers biggest enemy.
I’m same with the miss. The big push right. I’m not slicing anymore. But get that way right one on occasion
Ian, can any ol handicap golfer get instruction at TPI? From the physical assessment to the force plates & 3D body, it's something I can't find anywhere else.
Great vid Ian. Keep 'em coming.
Great video Ian .. what is the difference between the Tensei Blue 1K and the stock Tensei Blue they offer with GT?
Pretty sure he’s hitting the 1K they’re offering as stock
The Tensei Blue is money. Much better for his timing than either the red or blue Ventus shafts.
Such a good video, love Lucas Bro
Great video I have the same issue with my swing. What is the swing weight of the driver? Thanks
Awesome video, loved it
This is great content.
Love this!!! Keep up the great content!!
I hope they pay him well. He’s excellent
from Callaway straight to TPi lol. hit the Cobra too while your at it
This also highlights what a "Titleist driver fitting video" should look like 🤔
Why does every Titleist employee seem leaps and bounds smarter than anyone I know?
Leave ego at the door. Forget Ventus..
Stick with Tensei!!
Happened to me lol
IAN....GT-280 we must see it.
Very good, Lucas.
Great video, Ian
44.5” - what’s the SW and what headweight was used to compensate for shorter length.
How can an average Joe like me get fit into a shorter driver? Would a club champion/true spec offer this to try? Would hate shortening a shaft and adding weight as there is no going back
I think this proves the theory that they used to juice up the numbers in the indoor studio all these years
Great video!
Also what weight do you have to go with In the back at that length
"A wild Mikey appears!"
Mikey lurking.....what are you boys up to?
Did you end up with a 44.5 @ 75s?
What was the settings
I’m 5’ 8” and I’ve been on a 44 7/8 build since switching to graphite . I tried going longer and I hit it outta the heel and bottom all day. Oems are killing then avg amateur with damn near 46” off the rack . Use actual weight to make swing weight not length.
I’ve been fortunate to be fitted probably 10 times at TPI and found shorter clubs throughout my bag improved my strike pattern and consistency.
Curious Ian if you’ll try to make any other changes in club length thru your bag and if this will improve your game? Great video look for to many more!!
Ian! World traveling.
Why do any of us play a driver > 45”?
Mikey boy in the background.
I think that’s a tree trunk
What's it cost "Average Joe" to get fit at a place like TPI?
I’m curious if you used this driver working with Tyler. Seemed to be working great for you
Mikey sighting
"Thank you GT driver" ...... *Ian doesn't play GT driver. ; )
Who's that guy in the background standing there with nothing to do? Guy looks like he NEEDS a job.
I stopped following after the club champion merger Do you regret your business decisions?
No, not in the slightest. The decision I made for was for my family. It has completely changed our lives and has allowed them to have a beautiful life. When I moved to Canada from Scotland in 2011 I came over here with nothing. My wife and I left our closest friends and family behind with a goal of creating a special life for ourselves. Lucas Bro’s condescending tone and approach is nauseating. I’ve now witnessed it on multiple channels.
Really? Did you just see a bad vid the first time and now reading that in to all the rest? I didn’t get condescending vibes at all
Get a PING G400 Ian. I promise you won’t regret it. Way more forgiving than any Titleist driver
