Hi Beautiful People,
I know the struggle of finding a place to live all too well.
Here are a few things I think you should keep in mind if you are looking for student accommodation in Cape Town, especially if you are a UCT (University of Cape Town) student.
Please TAKE THE TIME TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH as I am not able to cover all the possible options and I can only speak from one perspective, mine. Also be sure to properly vet anyone or company you decide to send your money to.

@@kgosigadimokgethi8998 oh no, I don't but I think that's a catered residence so you don't have individual kitchens there. I tried to go in there one day out of curiosity but UCT residences are quite secure and I didn't know anyone there who could let me in.

I lived at CAMPUSKEY student living in the 2 bedroom explorer option. I think that’s the best option, even better than the one bedroom independent option which is more expensive.

hello country mate...i myself i am from Cameroon and was contemplating between schoolin' at UCT or stellenbosch...so pls kindly gimme some updates
Hi Lewis! I hope you are well. I actually have never been to Stellenbosch but I do love UCT and think it's a very good school and has a higher overall ranking. However, I advice that you compare the performance and reputation of both schools in the particular subject you want to study because even though UCT has a higher ranking, there are some subjects or programmes that Stellenbosch delivers much better than UCT. Also compare the performance in terms of Undergraduate study, Postgraduate study, depending on which you are going in for.
In terms of the city life, Cape Town has a lot more that you can do for fun but Stellenbosch is just on the outskirts of Cape Town and is about a 1 hour ride away...

Yes. For accommodation, everyone pays the same. Its just the tuition that differs.

So for UCT residences, it just depends on the res you are put in. There are some with shared rooms and some where you get a single room but share a bathroom... it varies from one accommodation to the next.
