The reef and the model look amazing!! It's so cool to see more of a water-themed Australian exhibit when the pack leans toward a desert theme. I love it!
I wish this would last forever. There is so much left of the world for you to do. Never seen anyone being this creative. It's just amazing! But the end.. Australia. Amazing!! 😍
Given the current limitations of the game, this build is pretty incredible! And I must say how much I appreciate the apology - it was an easy mistake to make and it's pretty clear you didn't misname the rock with ill intentions or anything of the sort, but it was a really respectful gesture nonetheless.
If Planet Zoo doesn't release a marine pack with fish, sharks, dolphins, seals, etc. along with aquariums, maybe animal shows, and all of the marine foliage, I'm gonna be extremely disappointed. If it included a bunch of things, I'd have no problem paying $30+ for it as a DLC. I just really really hope they don't decide to release it as a stand alone game and call it something like "Planet Aquarium" or something. But I'd take that over nothing at all I guess. I just loved marine mania from Zoo Tycoon 2 and being able to combine marine aspects and buildings into my zoo. Nevertheless, great video. I love watching you and incorporating aspects from your videos into my zoos. You're an amazing designer. :)
The scale model is amazing!!!!.....a tipical Rennkamel creation!!....the reef looks awesome!!...one of my favorite (non movie habitat) creations so far! Stay safe and keep it up mr rudi!
This build is just blown my mind. It’s so amazing. I never would have thought of using those flowers for coral!!! The scale build of Uluru and the foliage around it just wow.
This was just epic. I love summerlake. I'm a bit sad to see it end but I have love every minute and will love every moment when I rewatch it. Mayby use the ghariel or nile monitors in the pond. I know they are not the right animal but it would give the live to the coral they deserve.
So sad this is basically over :( I don't own the game (yet), otherwise I'd love to participate, but I'm learning very quickly there's much more talent out there than I will ever bring to the table, so I look forward to seeing what amazing creations blow this out of the park. I hope there is inspiration from Disney (naturally), but not total recreations! As for the Australia section.... meh.... it's a bit absurdly large, but then again, we're still without the majority of the globe in critters (cough, ocean, cough). So for what can be done, it works. I like the idea behind it, and love the idea of using the floral bed to help bring some shine and color to the floor instead of just plaster and concrete pieces. It just feels a bit distracting by the size in comparison to others, but maybe that's just me.
I downloaded your planet zoo season 3 thing and I spent my last two days looking at how fudging awesome it is you really out did yourself it is a 10/10 to me!!!!
I think it would be a bit difficult to match the water parameters for corals with all the trash the people may throw into the water or when they try to feed the fish or when the sun heats the water to much or when the lake freezes With that said i think it looks great😅
I assume this is a fake one anyways. Because the only excisting and working coral reef in a man made zoo in a different biome is the one in Burgers Zoo as far as I know - because of the stuff you mentioned. So don´t get caught up on that - it would be a totally fake one
Looks amazing Rudi, I love the corals and the Uluru little thing (forgot the name) Also, you should make a little pond instead in the koala habitat cause realistically koalas won’t swim on saltwater so I think you should make them a little pool :)
I love koalas just not when they are wet 😂 then they will truly turn into a monster then. Can't imagine how in real life they are looking when they are swimming
Hey Rudi, first of all great build. I really love it, especially the reef. I'd suggest to light the corals up if you want to give them more colour (this is something Disney would do too I guess) since the 1.3 enables us to do that. If need some inspiration, maybe checkout Sdanwolfs Pandora build on his channel. I was really flashed by that and I think it looks gorgeous.
i know i did this, but it only works when light is getting dimmer. like it kinda has a weird effect if the pond is not as dark as the pandora build was. this looked sick, because it suited the style. this one is a bit more light. But i´ll give it another shot with more foliage
This game is really really good, like your created Zoos. But they should make the simple ground / terrain textures better. When i build a Zoo i always try to hide all "default" terrain, since it looks so dull / boring or at provide some more foliage.
No need to apologise for naming it Ayers Rock. The monolith was written and spoken about by that name for several generations. I don't mind that's it's now been changed to it's Australian Aboriginal name, but many people still don't call it Uluru. few people around the world speak about the wondrous Chomolungma, everyone simply calls it Mt Everest. One thing you DO need to apologise for though, is putting the corrugated iron facing the wrong way on the buildings though!!! It's supposed to face downwards, for water run-off, so to an Australian it looks very strange 😊 Also, you could possibly add more 'Mangrove" trees to the water edges, as there are many small creeks feeding into the Great Barrier Reef, and they are impassably thick with Mangrove trees (and the water is filled with crocodiles of course)
Don’t apologise about calling it Ayres Rock. It was called that, rightly or wrongly, for over a century. The name has now changed to the Aboriginal name of Uluru. I was bought up with it called Ayres Rock and then we weren’t ashamed of its name because we didn’t know any different. As far as I am concerned it has gone back to its original name and all should be good...but some feel the need to dwell on the past instead of embracing the present and shame people because they are unaware of local concerns. That is like you complaining about us not knowing about unique a German issues. If people are giving you a hard time because you called it the name it was known by for so long, that is literally their issue, not yours.
me: simply playing planet zoo

me i-

Three years ago UA-cam suggested me this video. I knew about Planet Zoo because of It. The rest is History. Thank you for showing me this video.❤
For once thank you UA-cam algorithm haha
Your creativity blows my mind every time.
The faux great barrier reef looks really good.
thanks!
I wish this would last forever. There is so much left of the world for you to do. Never seen anyone being this creative. It's just amazing! But the end.. Australia. Amazing!! 😍
You could put some falling leaves effects in the coral rif, than it looks like there is fish in there
Oh that is clever!
@@RudiRennkamel I use it a lot in rivers I make and it looks really nice it give some live to it
1:30 am in Australia and sees Rudi builds the Great Barrier Reef o:

still waiting for a "Marine Mania" update
Oh yes please
@@RudiRennkamel when they release marine animals they'll have secured the spot for best zoo sim in the next 10 years at least

:) thanks so much. Glad you like it

Hahahahah
The reef looks absolutely amazing!
Flowers as corals - great idea. I don't know how you thought of it, but it was really successful in selling the idea. Amazing build!
Rudi oh my goodness this is STELLAR!
Thanks Tiffany :)
That's the most creative thing I hv seen ppl do with the Australian dlc keep it up
Thanks :)

It's really coming together now, I was pretty skeptical but now it's starting to look nice!
Thanks!

September is a lawless month. You can go to the pool that's halloween themed and meet people in winterwear in there
I live in Australia and this is amazing
Same o:
The pale pink looks like dead coral when under water.
This is gorgeous! If only the koalas which actually live near the GBR weren’t rapidly going extinct. 😔
This is so creative!! Amazing job
Love how you created the reefs! Amazing work again!

The koalas are still my favourite in planet zoo, even though I don’t have the game
:) they are so fluffy,!
@@RudiRennkamel fluffy but yet can be dangerous. They are too adorable to ever hate though :>
you should of have added cassowary because they are from Queensland and live by the sea
What about using the dust particles, or pollen or petals, for fish in the water
You could put crocodiles in the water connect the water with the kangaroo or u could put hippos in
I’m u put them in the roo enclosure but you could connect the water and have one big enclosure or put hippos
Wonderful 🎉

Why dont u try to gold the two new timed challenges?

Both names are still used, even on government websites such as parksaustralia.
