my girlfriend have breast cancer treatment and results varying from 39c to 38c to 37.2c to 38.8c etc... she have degree in medecin so she know how to use it... its kind of dangerous to not be able to trust your product witch is considered to be the best of the best... now the best of the best seems to be the worst of the best?.....

Thanks fror the instruction no where does it tell you how to turn the beep on. I have had this for a couple of years IRT.6500 and i have never heard a beep. What kinda crap is that.

Just got mine, had the same problem, replaced it under warranty and the other is the same. Shows higher and after first measurement everyone in the family I checked had the exact same temperature. I already had older Braun for years and I know how to measure in ear. I guess something is wrong. For not so cheap product, they should have gotten better, not worse!!
Reset the thermometer by removing the batteries. With the thermometer off, press and hold the power button. After 3 seconds, the screen will rotate between C / SET / F / SET.

If this product is sold in the states why in the hell does it go to Celsius? So frustrating when things are sold in the states that use metric when we use standard, yes i know it can be changed but when you don’t have the manual anymore to see how to do it and it takes for ever to look it up and read how to do it.
Some people living in the US grew up using metric or just feel more comfortable using metric. Im not sure why the "H E double hockey sticks" having a metric option would make anyone feel like cussing! Lol

I’m fine with either just pick one and run with it. This back and forth is stupid. You have to own two complete sets of tools to work on anything now a days. Tools are expensive!!!

Yea bull I get a different reading with every single use I checked my sons temp and got every reading between 99.2-103.9

My new thermoscan shows my temp as 101. Went to the dr and my temp was 97! Why would that be?
