Maybe the result isn't very impressive but the comments he give along the way and the thoughts he puts into it make the video entertaining to me.
Would be interesting to see after he learns the game more. I've been playing Planet Coaster for awhile now and it's an absolutely incredible game. You can spot how new he is to it but he actually gave me some thought processes to use when I'm designing as well so I appreciate that.

Mainstreet, castle as icon, fairytale turns into different themes like pirates and wild west. Thats bascially Disneylaaannnnnnndd

He works for Disney as an imagineer so it makes sense.
Fairytales, pirates and westerns are not themes that are exclusive to Disneyland. Almost all theme parks have a main street, and the castle acts as a "weenie" which is a theme park term of a wayfinding, attention-grabbing attraction for guests.
@@waldo109 yeah, but when you have the exact layout as disneyland that's a different story. Literally have a main street of gift shops, castle at the middle, and even turning left into pirate/western is literally exactly how disneyland is laid out

Yes! And he kept placing things just floating above the ground! Made my eye twitch.
And two of the rides don't have queues! So frustrating watching it. Especially when he added the "coffee shop" that initially had a nice curved stair entrance, then he turned it 180 degrees and dropped it where it wasn't attached at all!
@ShansCatsMeow I think it's more that Buzzfeed need to actually give them a tutorial before shooting the actual video. We can't blame the professionals

@@kyethepie1 This guy is a park designer, I guarantee he has an engineering or architectural degree, which means he objectively is smart, and almost guaranteed to be smarter than you, oh and he's nicer too.

I would have given him some time to get used to planet coaster then give him like a couple of hours and supercut the cool parts would have made for a nicer park still good video.

I'm stressed that a grown adult could be stressed out by some guy who just picked up a game, who had one hour to create a theme park with three different feature areas, not getting everything perfect in an hour spent on a game that takes hundreds and thousands of hours to really build something perfect. What are these comments? Did an OCD support group just raid this youtube channel?
even if it isnt a huge build, i admire his dedication to the immersive themeing! seeing a pov frm the three diferent zones really emphasised the completely distinct vibes fr every land so i'd consider it a job well done 🙂👍👍

I feel like he wasn't taught the full extent of the controls and mechanics. There were a lot of things that seemed like he just wasn't able to use his full abilities on. Like how he didn't know there was a staff mechanic or, presumably, how he didn't know you could change the length of the roads you place.
Please give this guy more time to complete a huge park. I would love to see that

Planet Coaster is so insanely good! I'm currently making Universal Studios The Mummy Ride in it. It's hard but very satisfying.

Constrictive critic on the park, and im shocked he as a theme park builder doesnt know this: in this park people are walking distances and long streets of just nothing to get from one theme to another. that would be very exhausting as a guest

Why is everyone annoyed about the not connected paths and floating things in that park? the idea of the video was making his dream park from the perspective of a park designer so it wasn't about how functional the park is in the actual game but more like a concept for how the park will be laid out
