For the ribbons: I think the Hobonichi uses cotton or similar material and Muji uses some sort of synthetic. Cotton and organic fiber likes to fray while the synthetic ribbon melts against itself with heat, and that's usually done when it's cut during the manufacturing process. Recommend giving the hobonichi ribbons some nail polish or CA/super glue at the ends going up 2-3 cm to prevent fraying. Anyways, it was nice to see some functional planning that wasn't so sticker and washi heavy! The Muji planner actually looks pretty nice! I've got my 2025 planners so maybe next year... :)
