I recently picked up a used copy of 'Flight 581' on Twin/Tone vinyl by The Pistons at a local record shop. Great stuff. Their songs on 'Big Hits of Mid-America Vol. 3' were some of the best songs on that one. Saw them live a couple times back in the day...one of the shows was when they opened for Iggy Pop in 1980.

The Pistons opened for Ian Hunter in ~79. One hit, but it was a good one.

I saw them open for Iggy Pop in Minneapolis in 1980 at the Leamington Hotel Ballroom. THAT was a night!

Big Hits is being re released Nov 18 Hopkins Theater. I hear Frank Berry is going to do this song.
