Dented my aluminum rims the other day. Threw them on the vice, straightened them out, popped the tire back on, rode em the next day. A carbon rim would've cracked. I, as a normal consumer, not a journalist, would have to file a warranty claim and pray they honor it, and wait weeks to get a new rim and have it built up by a shop to get rolling again or buy another wheel all together
Light bicycle carbon rims are reasonably priced and great rims Would rather ride them than alloy any day. No need to true them all the time like he’s saying. It sounds like marketing spiel but it’s really not. Just unfortunate most carbon rims are so expensive

@@stephenbarradell4043 you can break all wheels carbon and alu for sure. But I have to say dt swiss FR 541 is pretty hard to break.
