    Can you believe Tere bin 23 teasers has 10M views so far… I mean the craze for this drama is exemplary for all the right reasons so far. Yumna and Wahaj being the face of the drama and adding life to their characters. Both characters are so interesting and keep us hooked to experience their marital journey. Both characters are breath of fresh air on Pak tv. Love from India!

    Didn’t like Haya, but I have to say, Sabeena nailed that character that I actually found her more endearing and less annoying in this past episode…she’s still evil and what not but the way the character of Haya emoted her vulnerability and despair was pretty darn amazing…

      Yes she might be annoying as a character which she is supposed to be but her despair is very much there and one feels bad for her as even Meerub keeps telling her to grow a spine and move on...Sabeena is doing a good job of portraying such a character.

    The writer said in the interview with fuchsia magazine that the contract will be breached and that scene will be exactly like how murtasim says during nikha that meerab will tear it when she accepts her love for murtasim. So their marriage is not consummated yet. Common this drama and their chemistry is so organic that the director cannot let this scene to viewers imagination. I am sure they will show it beautifully in upcoming episodes.

    33:02 totally agree with aamna...yumna has done a phenomenal job as meerub. The credit for creating such a crackling chemistry goes to both wahaj and yumna. And yumna is equally good. There's is a certain level of intimacy shown in TB and this wouldn't have been possible if yumna was not comfortable. Credit to yumna and wahaj for generating this level of intimacy without making it look vulgar or uncomfortable to watch. This is something which we usually don't see in pakistanis drama.

    Despite Tere Bin's mediocre script, filled with the same old cliched tropes, the palpable chemistry between these two brilliant actors is what has truly captured the audience's hearts. Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali have breathed life into this drama. Without them, it would have just been an ordinary story. It's their sizzling chemistry that has made this drama stand out from the rest
    Also, Aamna you pointed out earlier that Meerab has different stylists and I totally agree with you. One of them prefers a subtle look, while the other one goes for a sharper look. Currently, Meerab seems to be sporting the subtle look more often, which looks great on her. I don't know if it's just me, but Meerab looks stunning, more natural, and so beautiful when she's alone with Murtasim at night. The last time they had a similar scene, where Murtasim said "Tum meri Meerab ho himmat wali etc," I found Meerab looking extremely gorgeous, and again in that black dress at night, she looked lovely. For some reason, she appears to be even more beautiful at night in their bedroom, but maybe that's just my observation 😂
    You guys forgot to discuss that scene when Meerab held Murtasim's hand on their date night, and the power came back, symbolizing that Meerab is the light of Murtasim's life. It signifies that without her, there would be darkness in his life

    Yumna's performance as Meerub is pitch perfect. She truly has embraced the role and it shows, shaking all her inhibitions, considering how poles apart it is from her off screen persona. Not once do you feel it's Yumna, it's only Meerub. The way she plays the girl who is charmed by her handsome husband yet hesitant to give in to the charm but enjoying all the attention. You can tell by looking at her eyes, face, mannerism that she's expressing all these emotions. Yumna's acting makes up for some lack of depth in the writing of the character (not that it's badly written), she has elevated Meerub's character above the average bold girl by adding nuances. And Meerub's character for that matter, is truly refreshing. Thank God she's not the whining self pitying character we often see on screens. Another refreshing element in her character, she's really straightforward, she communicates well, without being passive aggressive. For example she straight up asked Murtasim in the pool scene "tum mujhe ignore kyu kar rahe ho"? And regarding Haya too, she clearly tells Murtasim she doesn't like her presence around him, explains why she took the bullets out etc, no ego there. She's good at heart, fearless yet a bit naive no wonder Murtasim has fallen head over heels for her. Her's is a very much likeable character. Thankfully she ain't shown a saint. Fed up of people who want her to turn into a mush ball overnight for Murtasim. She is reeling from the humiliation of being cornered into marrying Murtasim so of course she'll take her time to soften up which she is. On the other hand everything about Murtasim is perfect except his lack of boundaries regarding Haya. I don't understand what happened to his emotional intelligence that he's now all of a sudden feeling pity for Haya, before marriage he put her in her place now how can he be okay with Haya literally flirting with him?? I hope he realises it sooner. Meerab and Murtasim nailed the romantic scenes! Stellar performance by both.

      Yes, it's a difficult one to play, especially because the hero has an author backed role, and is pretty much perfect. Hence being a thorn in his side for most of the play, can't be easy. Also, many instances I feel like I see Yumnas input, like the casual commentary like "over insaan", "favorite Haya" makes the banter more relatable. N likewise for Wahaj as well.

      And ofcourse noone can showcase this sort of sizzling chemistry all alone it is both Yumna and Wahaj together ❤️
      For Hassan unfortunately i think the story will proceed the way you said, seems Murtasim will wrong Meerub at some point. Otherwise, why would they grow apart...😔 let's just hope that their roller coaster journey is interesting and worth watching...

    Meerub surely feels for Murtasim but is still restricting herself because she's stuck in her own dilemmas. It's not that she doesn't understand Murtasim's advancements, she clearly knows that he is interested in her but she still fears falling for him, which she is gradually falling for no matter how much she tries. She knows that he's referring to her as his "mohobbat" but still she tells him "Mera Naam mat Lena" because she knows at the back of her mind that he's clearly inclined towards her, but is still in denial about her own feelings. I love how they have not shown Meerub already falling in love with Murtasim because in real life, it takes time and gradual growth in any relationship to flourish. Also, talking about her resisting him, Meerub has never been someone who can be wooed with good looks. She surely subconsciously admires the way he's always with her and she can count on him with full trust, this can be seen in the way how she's slowly melting at his words and the efforts he puts in for her. She does enjoy his attention and hates it when Haya shows interest in Murtasim, which we can assume that somewhat she feels she is the only one who has a right on him.
    People feel that Meerub is annoying but in my opinion, a/c to how we all have seen Meerub's character graph since ep 1, shes right in the way she feels and behaves because of the circumstances she has been through.
    Meerub is shown to be real, because in real life, no one forgives and forgets easily. Also, no one falls in love with someone ina jiffy, such things takes time and we can clearly see that Meerub is taking her time adjusting to everything and also feeling the mixed emotions regarding Murtasim with the way she's melting at the actions he does for her.

    • @eldoraaaaaa09
      @eldoraaaaaa09 Рік тому +17

      I concur. Of course, at times Meerub does some immature acts but that's who she's, her intentions are never wrong, she's just naive and sheltered. It's very frustrating to see people getting annoyed by her and wondering why she's so stubborn and not falling for murtasim. All her actions make sense, and it's natural for her to be confused and struck by what has been happening in her life. I think the problem lies in the direction because after they got married, we stopped seeing meerub's pov, it has been all about murtasim, I hope in the upcoming episodes we'll get to see meerub's pov because it's high time. We need to know more about her character, we need to know what she feels right now and what she wants from life, and her relationship with murtasim.

    • @SB-rg1oz
      @SB-rg1oz Рік тому +17

      @@eldoraaaaaa09 Agreed! So happy to see that I'm not the only one who feels that Meerub's actions are not annoying and are right at her place, that's natural about her character. We need to know more about her emotions through her pov so that we can connect better to her. It surely is frustrating to see how most viewers overlook Meerub's feelings, call her annoying because she disagrees falling in love with him and even criticize her for her behavior which is completely natural according to what she's faced

    • @eldoraaaaaa09
      @eldoraaaaaa09 Рік тому +11

      @@SB-rg1oz EXACTLY lol. Also if meerub would instantly fall for murtasim then there would be no conflict 🤡 I think all Murtasim and Meerab's action so far makes sense. You can't expect a character to work the way you want, the writer surely had a vision for both the characters and their story. Well, it's the lack of meerub's pov and also, our society in general (all the women) are biased towards men 🥴

    • @eldoraaaaaa09
      @eldoraaaaaa09 Рік тому +11

      @@SB-rg1oz also, it's so refreshing to see a character not fall for an individual solely for their looks. Meerub is a strong, fierce, opinionated, outspoken, independent girl, she can't fall for someone just on the basis of their physical features. While she acknowledges and appreciates murtasim's efforts, she can't let her guards down, and that's so natural for any independent girl. While love is a beautiful thing, it can be equally burdening and weakening, and Meerub is at that point of her life where she has been betrayed by her parents, so she doesn't want to rely on someone.

    • @samk10
      @samk10 Рік тому +9

      I second that! i don't know why some people are hating on meerab just because she acts differently from their perspectives. Hi from the US. I am an Indian American who loves to watch Pakistani dramas. Since I started watching TereBin, have gotten hooked to it and more than the episodes, I cant wait for end of the week to watch Hassan and Aamna's reviews :).
    I liked today's review but I think couple of points were missed or I disagreed with. One is that when Murtasim is with Meerub in the lawn scene he switches to his suave side and speaks in English more than usual. Frankly I think if he ever speaks in english it only with Meerub which may not be unusual but I think the writer is trying to make a point there. Another is that they might share the bed but I dont think anything is happening there for all of us to become popo :). I think there will be a dramatic scene where she will tear the contract for it to happen. For now I think we should just be happy that both are comfortable being intimate and she is not averse to him holding hands or being close. Another thing is that I dont think Meerub is cold or doesnt care. She cares too much and its coming out as jealousy towards Haya and Murtasim's relationship. She isnt able to express her feelings to him because part of her always remembers the betrayal by her parents and this family and how she ended up in this situation. Another indication is that now she is breaking eye contact and looking down and smiling at him. She is totally besotted by him.
    While Murtasim cant go wrong in anyone's eyes, I wasnt happy with his pants or shoes without socks in the lawn scene. I also think the dialogues could have been a little stronger. Totally agree that Yumna looks great but her saree could have been better.
    I am with Aamna that we are all going to be a bit unhappy in the next few episodes where Murtasim might start doubting Meerub. I also think the show will take a dramatic turn at some point where both will separate but we shall see. I hope this kaala jaadu thing goes away soon. Ma Begum needs to do something about Haya since Murtasim will not.

The scene where Murtasim spins Meerab around and “kisses” her hand was dealt with perfection that anyone watching it would fall in love with the characters without knowing who they are. In my opinion, if murtasim initially doubts whether there was actually something between rohail and her, it will be realistic. Because meerab is always teasing him and she still hasn’t fully accepted him as her husband. That contract still stands between them. Meerab needs to make it clear to him that she never loved rohail and that’s not the reason she’s been resisting murtasim’s love thus far. Basically, the way Murtasim makes it clear he never liked haya, meerab needs to do the same thing in case of rohail. Despite that, if he still doubts meerab, only then will I be very disappointed with Murtasim. I hope this doesn’t happen. 😅

    I think story is there. It's the story solely focused on this couple who were so called enemy gradually turning into lover while passing through all stages of emotions like denial, jealousy, finding each other, again separation and longing for each other and reunion at the end. This is a very conventional story but what TB does is that it gives ample time to build up each emotions that couple are going through that's why we viewers are growing fond of the couple with each episode. And other tracks of villains including Haya and and others are not much dragging , they're being as plot devices to take the couple's story forward. But of course Haya's track has become the most irritable one unfortunately. My sincere hope is that Their separation doesn't follow Humsafar plot and upcoming episodes also be fast paced. P.S. Hassan, We're not going to become phupo/khala so easily, Our girl Meerab is a tough nut to crack , always remember that. Murtasim has to put more efforts.

Please please request the makers not to drag it. There is a lot left to the drama, and we are only midway may be, but still hope that it will end where it is meant to and not get dragged.

    The writer/ director smartly balances intense romantic scenes with cute teasing and bantering, to maintain the limit of decency. Small things like kheer, Haya made dinner and jushanda moments were turned into cute romance and bantering that were enjoyable. Murtasim too balances his cheesy dialogues with Meerab , with very sensible handling of other family members, showing respect and giving importance to everyone, even Haya. The entire drama makes you smile except for Haya who is now becoming too toxic and even mentally unstable. The black magic part was cringe. I hope Meerab was not hallucinating because of Haya’s amal that night.

It's not about revealing or not revealing. saree can be worn with full sleeves and belly not showing but it has to be draped well and the blouse stitched well. That's the key!! To answer the question in the title, for the most part you guys fixate on the physical/sexual aspect of their marriage. Yes, there are references to this in the drama, but then there is also so much more to a marriage. Like connecting emotionally n mentally, trusting each other, actually falling in love love, the real stuff. Physical intimacy should ideally be an extension of this love in a marriage. We see Meerubs journey, from hating Murtasim, to slowly n steadily beginning to trust him, to care for him, connecting with him on some level. The director in one of his interviews explained that the contract was a time buying strategy from Meerubs end, to mentally accept Murtasim as her husband. She is still hesitant at this point, and that's consistent with how she is portrayed to be rather stubborn. But at the same time she is slowly falling for him too. For her to just suddenly jump between the sheets with him now, just because he is so irresistible, would be slightly hasty.

    • @studystuff4274
      @studystuff4274 Рік тому +8

      Yes, you said it perfectly, it would take time to trust him. After all her, her entire life and identity to an extent has been uprooted. Absolutely love watching Tere Bin, but what I find very strange is that Maa Begum being the one who has heard and solved sooooo many disputes of the villagers is totally unable to see through how manipulative Haya is. How could Haya instigate her so easily against Meerub in previous 2 episodes, and fool her in this episode after she finds pillows on her bed. It makes me feel k Maa Begum ne bas dhoop me hi baal safed kiye hai 😅
    Also, Haya's behaviour is outright alarming. She has given clear cut signals to each and every member of the house, right from cutting her wrist to proclaiming 100 times about how she loves to do Murtasim's 'biwiyon wale kaam', entering their room just like that any time, showing her obsessed behaviour in front of Mariyam, and the list is endless... I cant understand how is everyone taking her so lighlty and doesnt feel the need to take action on it, cz its clearly out of hand and against the rules that the family was shown to follow.

      Totally agree . Why guilty . Not at all. It has a good storyline, developing from a city girl being trapped in a place she doesn't like, doesn't understand the ways of living there. She doesn't particularly like the man she is married to due to circumstances. Now, the story has reached a stage where Meerub is falling in love, but she also carries the baggage of her past . It's about very real characters. There is nothing cheap offensive or indecent, so why feel guilty. It's like any other pak dramas. The only difference is that our hero is way above any other heroes we have seen in recent times . He has blown the viewers away by his looks charm and acting . Equal credit to Yumna. Very few girls can pull off being a tease, flirtatious, vulnerable, passive-aggressive all in one . And that's why it works.
      Also, there is a lot in the plot, which is yet to unfold. The Malik track . There could be something like Maliks son trying to harm Marium or Haya . Rohail's track is forced, though I feel through this track somehow Meerub will confess her love for Murtasim . Also, there needs to be a closure to Haya's track for all the stupid things she is up to. Lastly , Murtasim also has a past, I think they will reveal it somewhere like Nooran JI mentioned in her recent interview. So there is definitely a solid plot in the drama.

I must say on a lighter note that I am team Amna that thank God they didn't do what Hassan wanted to see in kheer scene 😛 and showing murtasim kissing her hands because this is what true actors do. Without showing explicitly they established he kissed her hands and left it to our imagination. I feel its more magical plus all actors have their own reservations aswell and we should respect that.

Meerab herself before marriage told her adoptive dad that she would never take “advantage” of his trust when liking a guy came in question. That’s the illogical and ridiculous moral point the writer drew in the beginning. Her adoptive dad literally came to Hyderabad all mad and ready to disown her if she had a romantic relation with Rohail prior to marriage. The show has established its moral ground so it shouldn’t be a surprise if Murtasim goes that route. It just wouldn’t be enjoyable. Despite Haya being crazy and literally harassing Murtasim, she has been taken lightly by everyone and Meerab’s jeaolusy scenes are enjoyable too because its contained but Murtasim along with everyone else is going to character assasinate her. I am saying that because of the main promo of the show where Meerab tells Murtasim that she doesn’t like her character being questioned and Murtasim asking her to jump to prove her innocence.

    Thank you amna for mentioning Parizad, that was a great script and execution of drama and acting. I remember watching your review in which you said the sculpture scene was so well executed and decently done. It could have been vulgar but not it was superbly written and performed same with wahaj and Yumna’s scenes.

    Murtasim’s romance, performed by Wahaaj, has got a reflection of SRK’s level of romance. So captivating and charming.
    Appreciation for Wahaj and Yumna defintely, but credit must be given to the director for the fantastic execution and giving a life to a rather uninteresting story.

    We all have been so blown away by Murtasim's charm that we often fail to understand where Meerub's coming from. What she's gone through it's hard for her to trust anybody and completely surrender herself to Murtasim. No Matter how good looking or appealing a man is if One's coming out from a kind of trauma where they've prolly lost their identity, It would take time to accept these things. Though she's been affected by Murtasim and it's completely visible. We all misunderstand Meerub a lot.🤧

    Wahaj and Yamuna's acting was commendable which made the dinner night unforgettable. I agree with Amna, even a stone heart can be melted by Murtasim's seductive eyes. I think now it's just a matter of ego that she built on the wedding night,let's see how far that ego goes.
    Hasan is right that hand kissing actually happened but was not shown. However, it was mesmerizing and deadly beautiful to watch their intimacy. Wahaj, Yamuna has raised the acting graph very high.
    Yumna makeover ,hair and jewelry all were absolutely beautiful. She looks so stunning when she talks deliberately averting her eyes 😘
    Again I agree with Amna Her dress was loose which made her look haphazard in some shots also she looked little bit overweight and the missing socks of Murtisam which can made his entire look complete. However, all these things become secondary when two of the best actors are present on screen.
    Amina and Hassan 🤣 you guys always made us laugh out loud while watching your show at midnight, I'm afraid koi phainti na laga day lolz 😆

    Regarding your Meerab thandi hai point, I completely disagree. Meerab definitely has a lot of heat and passion within her too, and they have hinted at it. There's a scene in ep 15 where she's sitting on the sofa, unaware of Murtasim behind her. When she turns around and sees him standing, her breaths come faster. Similarly, in the dance sequence in ep 22, there's a moment where her gaze goes down from his eyes to his lips, and a moment where she subtly gulps (we've seen Murtasim do that couple of times now). Its not that she's easily able to resist him, because believe me she finds him irresistible too, but its all about her ego which supersedes everything else, even her sexual desire for Murtasim (which is there in abundance)
