Why do you waste time cutting them into tiny pieces of you're going to blend?

Thank you for this recipe, I go to this Colombian restaurant all the time and ask for extra sauce and they always get mad or sometimes charge extra for it.. I order 1 empanada and it comes with 1 sauce, I order 2 and it comes with 1 sauce also. So that's where my issue lies, and my logical argument is that if 2 empanadas come with 1 sauce still, then I'd like to make 2 separate orders, going to 2 different places, so what do we do then, share this tiny sauce??? Now I got the recipe and I can't thank you enough, it looks exactly like the 1i but from there all time! Please ignore all the rude comments, people can be so disrespectful at times, just ugly human nature!

Thank you! And I have the same issue whenever I buy empanadas. They need to serve them with more sauce!

Would this recipe also make the Salsa Verde if one leaves out the tomatoes? I tasted a green Colombian salsa that was really nice, but I can't find the recipe for it. I was told that recipe did not have lemon, lime, or tomatillos in it. I did detect green unions and cilantro and maybe Serrano peppers. The salsa did have a lot of liquid in it that made it very good :)

Nah sorry we don't do it like that in Colombia! Maybe in your home but we don't blend it! But it's your way and I respect that! All the best from the UK

That´s not AJÍ. That is your way of making your own ´´hot sauce´´ or ají, which is the way we call it in Colombia.

    What oil is it?

Any oil neutral in flavor. I usually use vegetable, canola or extra light tasting olive oil.

What realy I'm from Colombia and we don't use habanero for the hot sauce.
