I am in love with Poldark. Make sure you watch the most recent one with Aidan Turner. Gorgeous Man. The old one is rubbish. Loved it so much I went and read the books. There are over a dozen of them in the series,but neither of the filmed series encompassed the entirety of the books. The actress that plays Demelza is not only beautiful but has a gorgeous singing voice.

First season of the recent Poldark with Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson is must-see TV. You can’t jump into the middle of that series…must see it from the beginning for it to make sense.
And my favorite simple recipe is ricotta cheese with fresh blueberries and a tablespoon of toasted cacao nibs. You can also swap the ricotta for cottage cheese or Greek or Icelandic style vanilla yogurt, but really…try the ricotta. It’s delish.
Tx guys dismissed the old version will definitely give it a go.
I’m a March Pisces, but have given birth to a March Pisces and a February Pisces. I think other placements in your birth chart make more of a difference than in which month you were born. All three of our birthdays are within two weeks of each other’s. ♓️

Humidifier damp patch: when my kids were little and would catch cold, I would put the humidifier up as high as I could in the room they were in, like up on top of a plate hutch. Having it high gave it time for the mist to spread about the room more before it reached the floor. We have carpeting in all the rooms except the bath and kitchen, so if any did reach the floor from up there, we didn't notice it.

“I don’t like a compromised cake.” I like how you stated this, Gemma! Yes, the energies are really weird now, especially with other people. It’s funny because right before you pulled the Thinker card, a thought came to me that people are overthinking everything, making life more complicated than it needs to be to get things done. It feels as though situations are blown out of proportion, causing unnecessary stress and difficulty. On another note, I once read that certain essential oils can be toxic for cats to breathe and ingest. Please be careful … ❤
Mansfield Park is Jane Austen. Not sure where the movie was filmed. My favorite Jane Austen is Persuasion,her last book and the best. Persuasion is worth watching as long as it is the1995 Amanda Root and Ciarin Bonds one.

I worked in a hotel where the cast and crew of poldark stayed for 2 weeks I had the luxury of cleaning some of their rooms . Let's just say some of the actors were not the cleanest lol also got to deliver their scripts .. fun times but never watched it 😅
Raw betroot is also lovely in coleslaw. So are those random mixed rice snack mixes (with noodles and dried peas, you know the sort) they be good in coleslaw also.

I loved the first season of the recent Poldark, but lost interest later in the series. I think I’m definitely in the minority though. Very worth at least starting it.
Love food: I roast beet root every week used to use a juicer, waste of food since I don't have a composter .... and sliver carrots with walnuts some olvie oil and lemon; bit of salt that sounded a bit like a pickle: the rest a bit of a blur. Coriander seed school marm hat on just goes with cumin middle east/indian etc etc Like that it's all seasonal. note to dog people; I freeze tspns of roasted sweet potato shove into bag excellent treat don't go mad with it but keeps'em regular🐶🐶

I’m not certain what peering up one’s own backside means, really. But the energy has lately been making me get a grip on all my indulgent excuses toward the end of my lifetime. I’ve finally forced myself to quit smoking after all the signs I’ve been getting. I’m also getting - emphasis on trying and not actually fully doing - better about the foods I’m eating and taking my vitamins. I see compromised cakes in my future. If that’s what it means, then I guess it resonates!
Poldark - loved it. and villians get right there under my skin. Will prob do a re-watch of the entire series just for the landscapes.

Weirdly, I was thinking about Doves last night and in my Catholic upbringing it was considered the symbol for the Holy Spirit and the dove on Noah's Arc and was the first to discover land. It returned to the Arc with an olive branch and it is universally the sign of peace. Cant help but think of John Lennon and Pablo Picasso's paintings of the Doves carrying the olive branch.
Is it Nori? That is a sheet made from seaweed and the basis of Japanese Nori rolls , or as some incorrectly call, Sushi.
And now I’ve gone and read the comments and have another series to binge.

I'll die of something probably not heart disease, Gemma I eat all that stuff buckwheat is gluten free and not wheat and my last romance of my life, a fellow slav (polish, witty urbane, out to save the world the eldest child) sat while I talked about the ethics of veganism, and he said my neighbour keeps a couple of chickens and i eat kasha (buckwheat) so what's your point? i still miss him that's ok.
Back again obviously getting about; I picked a fabulous horse who didn't win. People were so nice; my companion gave Fran Leibowitz , whom I love, a run for her money (I can;t count the potential puns none intended)

I think we have those birds mix here where I live in TX. They're pretty birds with a black collar and don't have the ugly pigeon face but they do have the body . Their color is beige and hints of white

Cornwall and chefs; Rick somebody usually look this stuff up I associate it with Daphne DuMaurier she of Rebecca; book was Jamaica Inn boats would run aground and people would rob the spoils killing the crew in the process. History is bloody but Cornwall after Wales on my list, also the Isle of Skye and Aberdeen, don't laugh my late person (his name is Ted) loved his stern father who could never keep track of four boys.

At first I thought you were saying “dogs” instead of doves and the mental picture of dogs mating with seagulls … well, I won’t say. But I really thought you’d lost it, Gemma. Doves are symbols of peace since Noah sent them out after the flood stopped and they came back with olive branches, a sign that land had emerged. Then they landed on a mountain and God sent a rainbow as a promise never to destroy the earth again, supposedly.
