    “I hate everything about you, why do I love you? You hate everything about me, why do you love me?” I guess these lyrics make more sense now. You can’t define a person just by her/his attributes or traits.

    The modern world really needs to get back to basics in every area, especially regarding relationships & romance/intimacy. We LET so many "things" come between us, & then complain about it, so the challenge is to radically recognize & reframe our living & thinking on the topic. I see the beauty & wisdom of the Rabbi's words, I hold them to be deeply deeply true & it's so refreshing to hear someone, even of another faith, speak them.

    • @estyflam6997
      @estyflam6997 3 роки тому +4

      Judaism doesn't encourage others to become Jewish because of the belief that everyone has their own purpose in life and as long as they fulfill their own individual purpose, it doesn't matter which religion they're part of. However, if someone really believes their purpose is to be a Jew, there are protocols on how they can become a Jew. But, usually they are just encouraged to be a Noahide.

    • @withrootsandeverything3460

      We are on the path to becoming Jewish our soul yearns to go to the place that we belong. And they do let people in. You have to want it, your soul will want it.

      Not necessary to become Jewish. Just take in the wisdom and apply it. There are others who say similar. What he says has nothing to do with religion to me. IT’s spiritual knowledge, imo.
