he was born to be a celtics. plays the right way all the time💯. brad saved the offseason when he traded for jrue. all we needed was a pg that had an offensive game and he was perfect. i honestly wish he can run the offense more instead if tatum mostly bc of his iq, he knows how to set up plays, better ball handler, better passer, less turnover prone and doesn’t do too much. i feel like tatum plays “point guard” to either get his stats up so the boston media can brag about him and put the whole team down or he plays “point guard” to just drive and kick. like tatum runs an offense to get him to score or eventually drive and kick to open shooters. he doesn’t REALLY know how to run an offense like that like jrue does

Jrue reminds me a lot of Terence Crawford - just absurd, pure athletes who can do anything in their sport, and I suspect could have picked a dozen other ones to be professionals in. This season has been an absolute joy to watch from Holiday.
Jrue got so much criticism during the regular season, this guy is built for the playoffs and it was an enormous luxury for him to play as a role play rather than one of the stars for the regular season. Just a phenomenal ability to switch up the intensity and remain consistent and contribute to a loaded team like this. It just goes to show his character, which was why it was so important to extend Jrue before White. Give him his money now and guarantee his future even if we cannot afford to keep him here. The timing of the extension into the post season is so important too. But credit to Brad and Jrue, both worked hard to stick to winning. The behind the scenes stuff really helped Jrue be Jrue in this series.

The team gets the basket and nobody is trying to be the man, because the group of five on the floor will make you pay no matter what. It’s why we loved those Spurs, but because Timmy was about 37 years old nobody gave him shit about not forcing his way to 30 points. Win win win, Tatum is proving that’s all he cares about.

One thing that was obvious with Holiday from the start of the season is how well he has rebounded, particularly offensively. Reads the ball off the rim so well and is often the first player to it and has been an underrated aspect to his game this year
This is what i observed too. His reaction is quick when and where to go just to get the ball
And his defense awareness and offensive too. I remember when clowns try to discredit his playoff stats but now he's going to be a 2 time champ
