Look at his hip turn back then and then how he changed his stance after being hit in the face. He closed his stance and had no hip turn, he also doesn't hit them as far
Yeah, god forbid people get excited during the home run derby. How much of a miserable prick do you have to be to call people stupid for having fun during this event? Also, it's a bit foolish to evaluate baseball players on the basis of winning championships. Baseball is not a sport where one player can carry a team to the post season and then to a title. If you have an awful team around you're pretty much helpless. You call Stanton injury prone but several of his injuries were freak injuries, such as getting hit in the face with a pitch and fracturing his wrist on a swing. It's seems a little idiotic for someone such as yourself to be so dismissive of Stanton when he just came off of a 59 home run, MVP season.
Shoutout to his pitcher
the announcers hahaha
I don't even watch baseball but that was dope
Let's go Bellinger!!! goodluck.... we've got a monster hr derby selection.. Stanton, Blackmon, Moustakis, Judge... oh boy I'm excited
What a absolute maniac with a bat
He is a monster!!!!
we're going to need a longer song
Theres no oooo there just AHHHHH LOOK OUT
Was there it was like a dream
Little did they know that there would be a man named Aaron Judge...
Is the Aaron Boone commentating? If so that’s pretty cool now that he’s his manager
I can't wait until tomorrow! Giancarlo versus Aaron! That stadium's gonna be left in ruins, when they're done!

Team mates💪💪💪
To hit that scoreboard you need to crush a 95+ fastball and wind....a lot of wind.

this is my road to the show character lol
Lmao I didn't know that Giancarlos Stanton was born in the same place as I was born in
"YIKES!"
He is machine.
Beautiful ballpark

He covers more of the plate with the new stance, and yes the stance loses power but it doesn’t affect the ball leaving the yard when he connects.
Savege mode 😈😈⚾
CRAZY
He’s better at hitting 450 ft he than I am at pressing square
If was going second he would not have the record because he would beat the competition and the round would end
if judge went first every round he woulda gotten like over 100
rest in peace robinson cano
Big mich is a beast
i got his autograph i will never sell it
I gotta assume this is his most comfortable stance since he's going for distance and time. does that mean the closed stance would sap some energy?
Stanton needs to play in a bigger stadium

If Mickey mantle played in today’s homerun derby he would have the record
Ryan TheHawksFan not at all
you mean babe ruth lol?
LOOK OUT!!! OOOOOH GOD! hahaha
Boring. I started just watching the catcher around 42 or so. But no Stanton is a beast. The derby with him and Aaron Judge should be pretty awesome.
Feel bad for cano 😂

That score in the corner was wrong
EY PERO GIANCARLO STANTON DA UNO PALO
Wow
#1
Hamilton would have hit it over the scoreboard smh.
As if Giancarlo doesn't routinely knocks 500+ ft. homers. Both In derby games and in actual games.
500+ ft is a bit of a stretch, but the guy can crush em
No he wouldn't because Hamilton is a lefty
Giancarlo was hitting line drives because it was time and if he had hit it high it would've taken more time to come down
If stanton was competing with the 9 out rule he was given more than 30 homers😎
lol
And he got strikeout by craig kimbrel on alds game 4.. bwahahaha
1st dislike
Hamilton didn't even win.

Baseball...AMIRITE?
Oh lord help these stupid people. Stanton never won a championship in his life. I'm glad Miami let him go. he's injury prone.
