Went to India after 10 years with family from Brisbane Australia. Believe me India is soooo much different from what it was when I was in college. The current government is doing excellent job and hats off to the people of our country for the stress on education and values parents put in Indian children. Felt so proud with my Australian Lebanese wife and her family to show them my heritage and my culture and they were astonished to see what Indian looks in 2022. Elante mall isnt my favourite mall in Chandigarh . Of course it has beautiful designs , even more than malls abroad , but when we were there it was overcrovded and many people I saw there , had so much attitude and never showed good manners . I enjoy another places and cities more . I prefer the slow and happy life in Punjabi village , go to local bazaars. Chandigarh is beautiful , but for me a bit overrated . Cant wait for your experience in Amritsar ❤. This city impressed me very much . I would love to see you stay in village more and show more content from there . This is experience , how Abbey said you cant get it anywhere abroad . Enjoy ❤

Looks like u are staying in Hyatt, their dinner buffet is great . N the cherry on the cake, you can see elante courtyard n just walk to it whenever u feel n sip in some amazing coffee, go clubbing. Have a great day.

I totally agree with abbey, when I go back home I prefer going to local shops n markets rather then big malls. In chandigarh please visit sukhna lake , rock garden, local markets in 22 sector Rose garden, silent garden, and alot of museums and it has a fantastic night life and magnificent reasturants.
You must visit Delhi...Aerocity ..cyberhub...Bangalore...dehradoon...India is a very modern country ..we as Indians don't want to go even to Australia ...USA...or anywhere nowadays...coz India is much better than any other country in the world...
The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Do the hotels in Punjab give an advisory( like they do in the Caribbean) to not drink the tap water and to brush with bottled water? I just thought of that when seeing the bathroom tour. They make sure to especially not swallow any shower water etc in the Caribbean ...

Five start hotels in India are really 5 start great food great service & great look. 5 star hotels are way better than 5 star in other countries.
