A tip for anyone trying to use the leaning feature, if you look down at your feet the little white square is where your feet would be standing

Habie, the breaching foam is intended to be used for destructible walls INSIDE the map that you cannot break with your gun, dont use them on the exterior boarded up windows.
Also Habie if you’re reading this the breaching foam walls/hatches can be wall-banged.
He really should try buying breaching foam and a drone and then he will be blown away. Becoming the drone, scouting them all out, clearing himself into where we wants and blowing open the wall into bomb site, even if he dies shortly after that the realization in potential strategizing is where this game really starts to shine
We cant expect Habie to play tutorial mission, can we?
if its like siege you can start to jump in right before it blows up and take people by surprise
You should do the tutorial, teaches you a lot of helpful things. CQB is the most difficult combat you can engage in so don’t stress it, you’ll get better. Aim for the head and treat it like real life and your experience will improve.

@@Surms41 in real life the most reliable target to hit is the largest one; aim center of mass to ensure all shots hit their mark. In real combat scenarios, every round makes a difference, you don't just find spare mags laying around and reloading your existing mags is not a speedy process. A missed shot, save for suppressing fire, is a wasted shot.
That said the other dude applying real life logic to a video game is cringe as fuck.

so many people dont realize in this game, they created a new system mechanic where you can LEAN. your characters feet ONLY move when you move your thumbstick. all IRL motions translate pretty well into the games character model, allowing you to hit some even crazier angles. also adds to the immersion!
Wait, so what happens if I walk 2 feet to the left IRL? Do I just super lean?
There's a limit to how far you can lean, it snapps you back into the max position after you go too far.
@@realsausageking that being said, I encountered a guy that has his favorite spot in Hideout on specific plant side. He would stand on a box that you can climb and lean about 3 meters forward to try and plant a bomb over the entrance of the room in absolutely non-possible to spot location

This game has been a blast to play, I can see it being The competitive shooter in VR
I absolutely love this game too. I bought it within the first day of me finding it.
It is competitive fun games like Pavlov and contractors revolve around run and shoot while this game needs skill intelligence and skill

@@theoriginalcosmicwanderer honestly not, Onward has way more bugs or stuff like invisible walls. While many VR FPS games feel just like another Pavlov/Onward this game really is something special, it just released and I didnt encounter any bugs in my 10 hours of playing so far.
This game is the first true tac shooter I've seen in VR and it works so well. Very promising for future competitive multiplayer titles!
There's been multiple, the best right now being Tactical Assault VR.
@@DCGMatthew1 Yeah there's been attempts but nothing I've personally played has lived up to the levels of polish and balance that exist at baseline in the flatscreen tac shooter market. Haven't had a chance to check out Tactical Assault yet although it's on my radar. Super excited that there's multiple games in production in this space! I thought this niche wouldn't be filled by a polished experience in VR for a long time.
The guy actually phsyically showing you how to use the detonator for the foam is such a VR moment and so friggen cool
Played this today and had a one in a lifetime thing happen, my team actually grouped up despite being a bunch of randoms. We had a beautiful moment where we pushed and took some live and injuries, and just like outta a movie a teamate throws a syringe from across the room to heal before making our next push.

@@silasmontgomery6982 there are a few walls inside the buildings that can be breached and also a couple of hatches that you can use to enter too. It's fun if you use it like a distraction while the rest of your team pushes from a different side

The gut-wrenching pull of the fight or flight reflex as you see a grenade land right in front you is my #1 reason for hitting walls in VR
That realization of the entry points was a solid Smooth Brain moment.

Little tip, if you're rappelling and in front of a closed window, you can click the right stick to swing through the barricade. Also, the foam is more for the walls and hatches with an x on them. You can also shoot through those surfaces.

7:25 banging exposes you and the enemys can shot you trough the barricade but foam makes it safer to breach and the barricade is instant down, so you become a better angle

I work in VR and this is the most fun I've ever had playing a VR game. Probably the CS player in me. It just works and I can't wait to see where it goes.
Dude ive only watched a few of your videos and just happened to see this on my recommended and right off the bat i hear Big Iron playing one of my favorite cowboy genre songs ever along with a sick vr gameplay! What a win lol
S-tier VR content as always! Breachers has me brutally addicted.
Couple of tips to help you out. Don't peek the same way every time you peek out, change positions when moving in and out of your cover, come from different sides.
When entering a room, sweep past the doorway first and take a wide berth around it, clear as much of it as you can before going in and checking left to right if approaching from the right side of the door, or vice versa if checking from the left.
Keep your rifle up when near a fight and look over your sights while moving, bring your head down slightly to aim, pivot with your torso to coarse aim.
If working with friends or squad mates try to push in with specific directions that are your individual priorities.

I played Breachers in the open alpha and I was so glad to see you made a video about it Habie.
Pro tip: The foam is for the large walls with Xs on it. It works on the slated windows and doors too, but it's meant for the walls and floors so you can enter where you wouldn't be able to otherwise.

Habie uploads. Must watch. Enjoy it every time. Realise I want to expand my VR library. I basically bought a vr headset (quest 2) and know what I want to play because of you and who you are and for that, I thank you.
if you or anyone else ever play this game again, when entering a room, GET OUT of the doorway. once youve decided to enter that room, get in the room, do not stop in the doorway, it makes it easier for the enemy to shoot you, and it makes it harder for your teammates behind you to enter the room to help you clear/not shoot you in the back of the head
The spray explosive is to blow up those walls with big X's on them. You don't use them on boarded up doors and windows
The game’s tutorial suggests using breaching foam on barricades as a distraction while you breach elsewhere.
@@donovanjoseph737 the only thing tutorial is good really is teaching people how to plant. And even that’s pretty self explanatory.

You actually make a really good point about holding guns at the ready at around 3:45. It would be fun to see you buy a vr gun stock so you're doing more pulling in than freely holding the gun in the air, which is always a pain even with a simulated gun stock.
What stock do you recommend? Looking to get my first… just hesitant because I love using pistols and quick reloads…. Can’t sacrifice ergo
@@sydbarrett5693 if you have a 3d Printer. You can make attachments for certain diameter pipes/tubes but just do some research and try to find one in your price range. A good criteria is that its adjustable, has magnets but is still sturdy, and also a sling/sling mount. Hope this helps.

I played breachers vr while it was in beta and personally it was the best thing I've experienced while owning a VR headset.
Habie, enable virtual stock when you are playing next time. Its gonna help you alot, its in the settings.

I love mil Sim stuff it's fun. Used to do it in Arma 3 room clearing is really rough and stressful when your trying not to shoot teammates and you have to be communicating constantly. It's a lot to get used to

Honestly this game looks like a lot of fun so far. Can't believe I'm just now hearing about it. I did MOUT training back when I was a marine so stuff like this is a little more natural to me and honestly finding a game like this in VR is gonna be a lot of fun probably. I miss that stuff a lot lol.
I was watching this at 3 am in a dark room with max brightness, and let me tell you, those flashbangs hit hard.
There are special points that are marked with big X that you can blow up with the foam itself, its very usefull to rush from the top on any map

Finally a use for my time practicing room clearing and corner shooting.
The boom boom foam is for the walls or floors with the yellow X on it. If you spray it on there it will take that said wall or floor down which gives you additional breach points.

Picked it up Thursday as well and I've already got 6 hours on it with lil 2 hour stints over the weekend. Proably going to be diving in hard after work today even with all the weekend queakers I might get in my team just to get more time in with it.

If you have teamwork and communication you can solve alot of issue. Playing a different game but having 1 guy blow the door, another guy throw a flash bang and then a 3 guy to clear the room is majestic when it works.

That clip of the dude trying to throw the grenade through the window, but hitting the wall to have the grenade land at his feet is peak breachers. Happens every time i try to throw a grenade under a door.
I had this one match where I convinced everyone to breach through the same window continuously with only shotguns, it was funny as hell
Watching this gameplay is a struggle for my brain but I still love watching it

2:45 as a pro (copper 3) siege player, the one thing i've picked up from the emerald 2s in my lobby is to keep shooting an angle
the other guy is probably gonna peek it again, so you have a good chance of catching them in your bullets
