That fact she is surprised is a very bad look for her. She knew who and what this guy was, feel no sympathy. Also wouldn’t surprise me if she went back for a third time
How are we surprised that a cheater was trying to cheat. Ya'll need to stop taking the trash to the curb if you're just gonna bring it back in the next day. Be prepared for gaslighting if you decide to confront him about it. He'll swear he 'knew it was you or a friend of yours the whole time ", and plenty of people believe that, because they want to.

Not sure why she’s so surprised. He cheated on her TWICE. What made her think he has changed? Run and dump him. Be smart and don’t listen to his lies. There’s a reason why your parents don’t like him and you should see it from their perspective. I’ve learned this with my ex. My parents never liked him and I can see why.

When someone shows you who they are believe them. He has no intention or desire to change. Remove him from your life permanently. Nothing he says will change who he is. You are creating a fairy tale that he is a prince, when he is a cheater.
