This was an astounding conversation between two friends with so much respect and I loved it!! I cried.. ugly ugly cried.. but I needed it..There is something overwhelmingly humbling about hearing someone that you have respected for almost 30 years, answer the question that has been permanently stuck in your mind for months, just waiting tor someone to say ‘do it.’
That’s the magic of Hanson.. the magic of connection.. the magic of trust.
Thank you for the inspiration I felt while listening and good luck with your pantsless wildman!!

What you said about their lyrics is so true, fan of almost 30 years here & their music has always inspired me or just made my day better. I've met Zac 3 times, Taylor 2, unfortunately not Isaac yet and they are such humble, kind people.
And when Taylor said "they were made cute so you don't kill them" i literally almost spit my drink out I cracked up so much!
And congrats on your sobriety, ik how hard it is. I've been off Suboxone for a year after 12 years of being on it after being on several things that were gonna end up killing me. And yes us Hanson fans are very dedicated, i have a tattoo i hope to have them all sign. And speaking for myself the dedication partly comes from their dedication for SO many years to us.
(Sorry for such a long comment, just so much to touch on)

Fantastic interview, I finally got to see Hanson this week for the first time (I’m now 41!) and it was just so much fun. They are such humble guys. The Red Green Blue album came out when I was going through a traumatic event and some of the lyrics in those songs just helped me so much, I don’t know if I can ever listen to We Belong Together without crying. So glad I got to finally see them in person.

I really appreciate this interview. I also must say, Osher, I have been sober since 1979, so I am really proud to see how long you have fought that inner fight for so very long. Don't ever change that achievement, other than to let it grow into what you truly are inside; that said, you change every day. You become more. You will never stop changing, improving. Grab ahold of that now, and never let go. Sobriety has its ups and downs, but hold on and live this time for you. Telling Taylor that you have been sober for so long is really an act of putting yourself out there. What a wonderful conversation you were able to have and share with us. Like he has, keep your eye on becoming more. He's definitely a great role model in success. I just found your podcast, and I'm glad I subscribed. Keep up the good work.

I am a fan since 1997 and I admire this pure and couragous soul a lot more now. Thanks for that talking!
Very inspring. Because I'm chickening out of my own life for a few years now.
Unfortunately I don't have that clear calling or passion what to do on this planet.

This is an amazing interview. I could listen to Taylor talk all day. He’s always been a person who quietly sits back and listens and observes.
No offence to the other brothers but it’s really nice to hear Taylor talk by himself. To hear his views on life and relationships and his own personal challenges loved it 😊

When Osher talks about not getting that feeling of connection or intrige at any other show with any other artist,, I know exactly what he means.
I was at the forum in Melbourne last week, tears rolling, not blubbering but in absolute awe of being in my happy place, watching great musical geniuses in one room with thousands of people that get it too. My inner-child beaming whilst my adult self feeling so grateful to have lived my life with these guys, watched them succeed, reached for their music in my dark days, and my best days. There is absolutely nothing like it. You wish you could bottle it and carry it with you everywhere.
Sorry Tay, retirement isn't allowed to be on the cards just yet :)
They have filled my cup. Just by watching this, I could see that Tay filled Osher's too.
    Amazing interview.
What lovely humans they all are. X

Wow. Great Interview. Diverse. Informative. Intelligent. Honest. Inspiring. Successful navigation addressing real life situations. Refreshing difference apart from the usual generic textbook version, with same questions & yada yada. I was surprised when the interview began with personal everyday life & parental struggles. It allows for a connection with a real person, not just the celebrity aspect. It allows for helpfulness. Congratulations on 12 years of sobriety. That's awesome. I calculated that your oldest son is 18, which means he was 6, when you chose to realign your behavior. That's incredible that he got to mature & grow up with a sober dad. Your new son, has you sober from birth. Wow. That's huge. You've chosen your children over addiction. I think there are no words, for that kind of love & dedication. I seriously could burst into tears. How amazing for a parent, to choose the children, and fight to stay there. Just think what you'd miss, & neglect in active using. You cant do both. It's sober & parent, or use & lose. Congrats. Ok, so, now onto this fabulous interview, with the incredible Taylor Hanson. What a fabulous family, that his parents created & maintained. Great Hanson parents. His, theirs & those other sibs. Everyone is a parent now. It's nice to see. It gives hope. Humanitarianism to boot. No family is perfect & without complications. Its how you handle things. And how your children learn. Ok, really back to this incredible musician. Love his music. In awe of such talented people. Who make better choices.
I'm inspired to try harder. Thank you. Love, health, happiness & peace, to all. J, from Baton Rouge.
