Jessica Maguire - Full Episode
Our brain is extremely powerful, and it can work for us against us, sometimes without our control. We might not even realise it, but there's a big link between our mental and physical health.
In my chat with Jessica Maguire we cover all things mental and physical health, and dealing with day to day stress - such as living with an inconsiderate housemate, problems in the workplace, the end of a relationship, or being under financial stress, and how these things can cause our nervous system to become dysregulated and contribute to chronic health issues.

This is not a conversation about Savage Garden. This is a conversation which is one of the most raw and honest I have ever had on this podcast. Darren and I speak about his journey through trauma and through therapy in a way that’s both heartbreaking and hopeful, what it really means to be “successful” while carrying invisible wounds, and how sometimes the very things that help us cope - like p...

Host of the podcast “She’s on the Money”, Victoria Devine, joined me this week to chat all things finance - I did a pretty bad job of making a conversation about financial literacy as dry as you might think, but that might be a good thing as this chat is exactly as necessary as you might imagine. Your mindset and relationship with money might just change for the better, and your wallet will be ...

As Australians, we value looking after each other so highly, we have built one of the most incredible healthcare systems in the world, which includes the NDIS which is something we should all be so proud of. No system is perfect and every system has flaws - yet it’s the superpower we don’t realise we possess until we go somewhere without it. Looking after the most vulnerable in our community ma...

Andy Griffith is one of Australia’s most successful children’s book authors, who drew on his experience as a school teacher to redefine what it was that made kids want to read. Anyone who reads books to their kids knows that some are just excellent, and some are pretty ordinary. This conversation peels back the curtain on what makes kids actually want to read - not what we think they should rea...

❤ this was beautiful .... super emotional ... but beautiful ... thank you ... both of you 🥰
Darren, I really miss you on Instagram? 🆗 then and then I understand. I , so, u know... 🤗 Hugs
Great interview, Osher! I'm a huge fan of Darren's and you've earnt my subscription. Whatever you're doing with the two-shot camera though, is terrible and distracting. A static camera would do the job just fine.
Very interesting stuff😮,,,❤
“Bleach of Sunlight” beautiful. ❤ Also beautiful … 1 Peter 4:16: Even when someone else is responsible for bringing shame, the Bible urges us not to be ashamed but to glorify God instead.
if theres no god then shame is just a chemical reaction in your brain. if there is that might be your warning sytem. if theres no god it will be nothing. if there is will u be punished for it? is there a way to not be punished? yes. jesus
Shame is good it makes you accountable for your behaviour to yourself
Just needs someone to force Dan and Ben to interact - break the ice
Sunshine is an outer country suburb on the way to Ballarat which is North West of Melbs and is an old Mining town (Ballarat that is) - re discussion of Sunshine - Neo naz discussion at around 39:39 time stamp.
Taylor hanson your so fantastic and I love hanson
Every gen X has been bashed up for no reason - we learnt to read the room. It is strange how people are now.
I grew up watching Steve. Now I watch robert. Conservation of wildlife is still part of me everyday because of this family
Viva la X!! 🎉 glad to find you here ❤
Awesome. I loved the Expo 88 discussion. I was onstage in the same performance. I was in a group of 30 or so local kids from a talent agency and we came on straight after Dannii sang. What a show… what an experience I got to share with Dannii, even though she had no idea I existed. Still a huge fan to this day
Lying creep
Why does this have so few views? Really interesting stuff
Osher please Your a descent science communicator Rob and Dean will live on forever on UA-cam I reckon that you could bring the "Curiosity Show" back Thank you for this
Aged Care and Disability Support are behind the times. A-Sexual is not the reality of Aging or Disability!
Beautiful.
The most beautiful and talented lady from YTT. Dannii deserves all this wonderful attention. Dannii being around for decades has blown my mind. Good ya Dannii
Sorry if this depresses you, but, Bruce Springsteen is in his mid 70s, not his mid 50s.
How is this not the best thing ever
Because you see yourself as the problem, when you got in the way of you! U need a man or someone to hold you.
Phil watching barbie, Kodak moment right there. lol Caught Guide to Better Living at the Tivoli. One of the best live venues I’ve heard bands play ever. Got three shows in with this tour. Bundy, Gladstone and sunny coast at the The Station SC. Love grinners. My favourite live Aussie band and one of the best Aussie rock bands ever. This has been a great year for live music for us. Got grinners at fortitude valley in January. QOTSA two nights at fortitude valley. Spiderbait at the valley again. Grinners as above and our next little adventure will be Amyl and the sniffers at the Station SC next January. Has been an amazing twelve months. Great chat guys, thank you.
Great chat!
The nicest Australian man I’ve seen speak in my entire life
Being better requires a lifestyle that most won't do because there is not much the human mind cannot overcome but it needs quality sleep, quality food, quaintly exercise. As a species we are in the safest time in history but have the most trauma
Car keys 🔑
two absolute legends <3
Loved this interview Osher and background to the album ! I was lucky enough to work audio crew support on the forum Melbourne gigs. Great mix, great tunes that had depth and texture. But a tasty drawing of some past themes and some great aural and lyrical twists and turns. And just subscribed to your channel mate. Some fantastic vids - why not a bigger audience yet? Will share as well. Best regards, Mark
Who?
Caught Grinners at Beenleigh Rum Distillery last night 🤘rocked hard. Phil, all the people up the back in the bar did in fact buy tickets 😁 cheers for the awesome gig mate
Undeniable is the fact that Abby is a realistic human.
Wonderful interview! I was hoping someone would talk to this man about the wonderful music he makes. So excited for the new album.
Wow, what a conversation. An honest measured discussion on the military. Great definition of courage also. A pity he didn’t get into politics in WA. Having people of this integrity and intelligence would serve the community so well. Especially with his philosophy when it comes to the reasons you go into combat/ war. Thanks for uploading these on UA-cam Osher!
Any advice to lend? I'm developing a music focused Social media App & looking for partners to join the project, already partnered with a development team & we've just passed the wireframe stage of development, will be taking on social media platforms and record labels. Any advice on how to reach out to those in the industry to hopefully invite them to join the project ?
I saw Silverchair (and Powderfinger) support Pantera back in '94. It was a strange bill but certainly an iconic one, retrospectively.
It just seems like Daniel can only ever equate Silverchair with all the negative that came along with it.
Was looking forward to this!! I love dannii, can't wait to watch all this. ❤❤❤
Thank you for the compliment -a fan ❤
What was your band? Is there any footage of it on here? Nice watch btw ✊
6:05 that’s powerful. I wish things didn’t happen the way they did, but a lot of good happened. “Don’t be sad it’s over. Be happy it happened”
I got to see Silverchair 4x. 3 in Los Angeles 1999, 2003, 2007. Tempe AZ 2007. I'm so grateful ❤ would love to see Ben and Chris again!
When I was diagnosed with Bipolar at age 19 my Mum said “your life is over and you will never achieve anything now”! My Aunt said “we should have her put in an institution”! It was then that I said to myself that I would live my best life possible with this condition. I met my Husband at 21 and married at age 22. We went on to have 3 amazing kids all of whom missed out on the bipolar so far. They are all in adulthood and are so empathetic towards others. I am immensely proud of them!!!
I ran a machine that made 10s of millions a day and got paid only $29.75 so after taxes nothing
You’re so entertaining. This is a refreshing change from all the usual “this is the history of how long it took to get noticed, and these were her inspirations” etc. etc. I found the Titans part very interesting!
