Thanks for sharing. I help my Dad farm in Kansas for many years. He passed away in 2019. He is missed so much. Our favorite time was harvest time. His main cash crop was wheat. His last combine was a 1986 1660 Case IH Axial Flow. He enjoyed operating it so much. :)
More information about the pivot irrigation system would be interesting to see. Both you and your daughter have good channels to watch, keep up the good work.
Thanks for visiting Iowa! Glad to see you launched a channel for viewing things from your perspective. All you guys are really good at doing these videos. You guys are giving people a fun and informative way to learn about farming. I think it's interesting to those with a farming background, but also for those new to farming or being introduced. Looking forward to the 'merch' being available and looking forward to supporting your family and the content you create. Curious to know your thoughts about regenerative farming. Is that something that interests you or do you take another approach to how you farm? It would be interesting to hear about your approach. Perhaps it's fairly mainstream, but either way interesting. Like your wisdom: "Happiness is a choice." Thanks for spreading positivity. Best Regards From Iowa. Feel free to reach out if I can be of help.
I know this is a couple days late , but I went to Deshler High school and grew up on a farm about 5 miles out of town. I knew Richard Reinke who started the company you mentioned.
I would like to see diagnosing plant growth and development problems, examples of plants that are exhibiting nutrient deficiency symptoms, pest pressures etc. in your fields and corrective actions.
Great video! Looks like ya'all had a lot of fun stompin' around fields. Good times! You're a hard working guy, but you know how to have fun with your family. What's better than that?
Great videos, thank you for letting us into the farming word! One small note: the front camera is usualy verticaly mirrored so the text in the background is shown correctly. You are filming the other way and it can be disorienting at times. Love the laughter :D

can you talk about some of the financials of a crop and farm? How profitable it is? How do you calculate how much your crop is worth?
Can you do a series from start to finish of the start of your year to the end of your harvest season?
i would love to know how your fields compare with the ones you saw on the tour and yes a video on the cool 5 ton))
