I love how eclectic your stitching choices are. I also appreciate how willing you are to try new finishes and submit your work to be seen and judged so bravely! I went to my county fair this year to scope it out: planning to submit next year. Your entries were further inspiration!

I own and love your patterns And so enjoyed your showing us the projects that you entered into the fair! I thought it was genius how you took the tulip, magnetic sheet and made into a stand with a sleeve, absolutely genius! Thank you so much for sharing

Yes they changed around the schedule last year a bit and this was the second year of the different dates.
Congrats! Beautiful work. So nice to promote state fairs. I have never heard of the fish ice cream cones. You need to chart the punch needle design for cross stitch..please!

Ah-mazing! Thank you so much for recording it all. I for sure missed a few small gorgeous things that you highlighted. ALL of your entries were fantastic. I also don't know what blocking is, maybe a kind viewer can teach us. I had the framed magpie on the turquoise linen that had a note about stitch tension and length. I get tension, since I stitched it in hand, I'd use a hoop or q-snap from now on the entries, but stitch "length", I'm not sure of the meaning. 🤷♀️
So fun! You know that you're my inspiration to just go for it and submit with no care in the world if I got a ribbon and I didn't even see the prize money part on the entry form. Bonus. 😆
I'd love to know what other flosstubers enter in MD if you know of any to follow.
