Thank you for the removeable ice tutorial. I have started making the lids and have never thought of putting the magnets directly into the mold!! Seems simple. I have been using UV resin but the magnets are pretty strong and have been pulling one of the magnets off

I love, love your tutorials. I have a question please and need advice. I printed a waterslide the other day on Hayes paper, sealed it with a clear sealer 4 times. Went to use it and it was like tissue paper and basically fell apart. What am I doing wrong? Wrong paper? I used room temperature water. Only had it in water until it was coming off easy. Want to get it right. HELP PLEASE????
Are you wetting your surface before applying the waterslide? Also, I recommend using a squeegee to smooth it out if you are not. After your finally layer of sealer, how long are you letting it dry? I, personally, allow mine to dry 30 minutes. Make sure when you cut your imagine, you don't cut on your picture.
Awww, thank you so much. I am not familiar with Hayes paper and I seal my slides with clear seal 3 times very gently, as it doesn't take much also never let it dry very long, once you sprayed your last coat of seal and its dry use it right away.
@@marshaschenkel6438 just jumping in here, hey y’all 👋. I use only Hayes brand. Try lukewarm water.. a bit of warmth helps for making them slippery on mine👌. I usually print, seal & cut 2 or 3 of the same thing at the same time .. then I put the extras in a clean drawer for later use & have zero issues with them at anytime later on. I seal a waterslide once - spraying left to right, up & down & then diagonal.. really quickly. Dry for 30 minutes. Get a new silicone makeup brush & really wet the area with drips from that before applying the slide.. then wet the topside & use it to gently squeegee out the water that’s underneath it. *Keep that particular silicone brush for doing only the waterslides so it doesn’t get any debris\epoxy stuck to it that can tear or make scratches. Anything that causes drag is no bueno. Be patient with yourself, everything has a little learning curve. Good luck 👍
Love this! I've been trying to find lid coaster molds that fit. What sizes did you purchase?? You said you bought 3 sizes. Which size/coaster actually fit?!!
Thank you so much, I'm sorry for the confusion on my part, I meant I bought 3 different sizes of magnets until I found the right size to make these work. I get my coaster molds from AB Designs here abdesignsco.com/products/car-coaster-mold?_pos=1&_sid=4b9cfaae1&_ss=r&variant=39400639234094

I have a question what tops does that coaster mold fit into is it only the AB designs cups? And where did you get the coaster mold?
I did get the coaster mold from AB, I don't think it would be just AB cups.

@@kentomic3799 I don’t think I had the tumbler wet. Yes. I bet that’s it. Thank you for answering. I’ll make sure I use your tips next time.

Hi,
How did you pop the sliding piece out?
I just used a pair of scissors, got up underneath and popped it right off.
