This is kind of a ‘throwback’ to the Fixed block days where this model braking system was better back then. One step seems better than two step for NSEWL, so I hope this will finally be true for C151A so that I can take it often maybe (even though still prefer the C151B for KSF rides)
There was a period of time a few years ago(perhaps in 2020 ish?), most(if not all) KSF trains featured 1 step braking, including the C151A! However later on the C151A reverted back to the 2 step braking while the C151B & C151C retained the 1 step braking profile all the way till present. Hopefully this change we see in this video is permanent!
Damn this is better man compare to the two step braking , visiting SG in 2017 , still loves that braking even though is one of the hardest braking that I experienced besides Perth(no recording) and Sydney (SG also no recording)
Although the video was uploaded on 1 April, this is not an April Fools joke

T313.
One of the KSFA Set 521/522 has been stuck on East West Line for 4 months already.

is there a sort of rationale behind the KSFA doing two-step braking instead of one?
There's no official reasoning but rumours are because of alignment issues - though I didn't notice any problems
AMAZING
WHAT
i literally saw this fella at JUR doing 2 step lol
Happy April Fools Day!
WDYM one step braking returns, all the C151As i rode on has them
nope, those are all two step.
Ever since the removal in late 2020 they never returned
i meant most had them for some reason
C151, C651 and C751B will only be running on East West Line. KSF C151A, C151B and C151C will only be running on North South Line.
Really? How did you know that?
Oh my freaking hell?
How the one step break had returned?
Yay!!!
Just wanted MRT to be 😅
C151A is good
