HOW DOES IT BOOST? (N249, N112, SAI Delete)

- In the last video I deleted the N249, N112 and SAI pump. This is supposidly going to allow your car to run smoother, with less electrical components to stop, or control how much boost you get.
This is the first time driving it since the delete!

Know it's a old post but done the same with the fuel filter the pipe that goes from pump to filter just replaced it with rubber fuel line because you need to drop the tank to replace it meaning dropping the entire rear end off a tt

Is that rattle on a cold start normal? I know the tensioner is hydraulic and it takes a few seconds for the oil to reach it, but it sounds like metal to metal contact for 2-3 s
It sometimes happens to me too dont know if its normal or not
How are you able to start your car without pushing the clutch in??
Silas_ Mk4 behind the clutch is usually a little push thing kind of like how your door triggers work. If you just remove the trigger and twist the wires together it will start. Just make sure it's not in gear. It's also what you do when you want a remote start in a stick shift car.

What engine you had in that i had a 20vt agu unit in my golf it never had n249 set up
This was an AUM engine don't think the AGU had an n249. Check out the small series I did on the red golf that was AGU

It's called limp mode.

Why?
n249 controls boost control electronically. deleting will delete more hoses, less chance of leaks, tidier engine bay and no electronics controlling boost.
