I am happy that Céline sang the Nanette Workman version of Lady Marmalade (see both singing that version : ua-cam.com/video/T-3NLfCTLTc/v-deo.html ). We grew up with that version here in Québec. I am a Nanette Worman fan. By the way, Nanette is american she is from Jackson (Mississippi).
Seems as if she has been switching a lot this tour i noticed watching back some of my videos on tous les blues since Chicago she had used corded mic but prior she did not. I kinda like the way she uses the cord as a prop lol
@@Tcottong no wait i figured it out. she actually switches to wireless to move around. if a segment is mostly lipped, she'll keep the wireless. or if she has to walk on stage like ttwii, abm, bylm and the medley. mhwgo doesn't look good with a wired mic so again, wireless. but if there's an opportunity to stand still and sing live (imperfections, the prayer), its automatically the wired mic.
So these other answers are right, technically. When she is singing live, completely, she will 100% choose the corded microphone over the wireless. She has said that she prefers the quality of the wired mic as well as feels more comfortable with it. I saw her in Jacksonville and whenever she would sing live, it would be the corded microphone. The songs she lips would all be with the wireless microphone. She does sing All By Myself with the wireless microphone, even with the lipped high note and ending, yet it is likely due to her stage choreography that requires her to move to the wireless. But, long answer short, she prefers the wired microphone over anything else. It was said in some interview, but I can't remember which one.
@@greg4272 think twice, the reason, and tous les blues sont ecrits pour toi all have good guitar parts. I would say the guitar has been emphasized better since after rene and also since kaven has been her guitarist. Check out the tokyo audio for think twice and listen just before the bridge. Gotta give scott price great credit on updating some of the arrangements!

@@Tcottong for some reason she changes mics to wireless to lip sync and back to sing live
@@celinedestiny4385 yeah mostly but a few inconsistencies with that like TLB she used wireless early in the tour. Its kinda strange

As much as I respect her that guitar player is sooooooo fake.
I never heard one good guitar player or solo on her records either.
René probably did not have a clue about guitar parts in her music.

Andre Coutu was her original guitarist. Should have never let that talent go.
Celine... you should stick to what you know. Rock n toll, you ain’t
She’s one of the most versatile singers in the world so she can sing whatever.
