Oh Greenpoint. I remember the enormous Greenpoint Terminal Market blaze at West / Noble / Oaks St in 2006. Never forgot what I saw there in 2001 and who set the fire. That's New York crime. Well, nice catch!

Ya I read a book about rescue 2 they are hardcore, they referred to fdny units from the less busy boroughs as no better than volleys from Iowa. The only men they wanted in their company were from Brooklyn due to their call volume they were the only ones they deemed worthy of rescue 2. This was not the case and it was hard for men outside Brooklyn to earn their spot but many did it.

The boxes in The Greenpoint section are mostly R4, Sq288 normally assigned boxes.

They have a Q ( Rescue) but don't use it. 🤔

Squads and Rescue Co's actually use their Q all the time. Look up videos of Squad 1 and Rescue 1 responding to calls from 2018 onward. They both slam the Q.
