The AI is so helpful!! It can't write all that I want to say but it's such an awesome starting point and inspiration! I love it!! It's helping me write the outline for the scripts for UA-cam videos. Totally great!
I also had it write a theme song for my channel. 😆 that was funny. The AI wrote a rhyme with verses and a chorus.. 😄 so fun.
I got magic write am student 1 year free pro plan
I asked it to write a mac and cheese recipe. The one it came up with is almost as good as mine. LOL.
I asked it to... write a sermon from Psalm 23. The sermon could've been better. But, it was interesting to see what it came up with.
I asked it to write... a Christmas story where an African American business woman meets a country man. The story it came up with was a very formulaic Christmas movie, that if it was fleshed out... it might actually be a hit Christmas movie. This one was weirdly pleasing and eerily scary. Still not sure how I feel about this one.
One of the best initiative, looks like Canva wants to made all in one solution itself for publications. And it's worthy for my work.. Love from India 💓💓💓

Stunning tutorial! As a copywriter, I can see clients trying to DIY copy this way and I'm here for it. The one thing AI can't do yet is generate ideas with the marketing strategy in mind. Because of that, I predict that copywriters will need to exercise their strategy muscles and coach clients more around what content and copy will be useful.

Thanks for this amazing insight, I had no idea this came out and I am loving it already. Sometimes words come to my head, and other times, blankety blank! Absolute game changer and the uses per month means I can cancel another AI tool that was very expensive, and, so far, Canva is kicking it's butt!!

So far, I am loving Canva Docs! I used it to make a how-to PDF and I embedded a UA-cam video. Awesome! I’m going to try sharing it as a link vs. sharing as a PDF to see what’s easier for end users. But the potential is great! I am also blown away by your Magic Write demonstration. I’ll have to explore that more. Thank you Ronny! 😀

Oh WOW! That love letter was REALLY REALLY GOOD. That alone sold me on magic write. It was emotional and you really couldn't tell that wasn't written by a person.

Excellent video, Ronnie. I agree AI is the beginning of a massive advance in how we can research, generate and improve our content. It doesn't replace the human aspect (us!), but it will help break through writer's block and being able to generate new ideas in our businesses more quickly.

If you want to try Magic Write. make sure you are using Canva in either English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian or French. For now, these are the languages in which Magic Write will run.
Thank you! I assumed that it will be available regardless of my language settings but the use of it should be as you mentioned in video. I will be switching languages for now cause this advice works immediately 😊 I have to use it in my language because my target and clients want it that way 🤗 Thank you for saving me time on research. 💛

Magic Write is great for brainstorming. Even I use it, but with how good it is, there's also a chance it'd be used for plagiarism.
Still, it's a very useful tool, and I look forward to seeing it improve.
I agree with you, it's already pretty good.
And bare in mind, that because it is leaning on machine learning, what it is today is the worst version of what it will be.
I mean: every time we use it, it becomes better 😎

Canva hasn't told us specifically what it's based on. They told us they built upon some existing tech and added a bunch of safety filters so that the content generated is always "safe".

Wow! I started w a paid version of Lifetime access to Hoppy Copy months ago for $79 (they prob knew AI was coming to many programs and apps) then Notion AI then Midjourneynand Dall E and then Craft AI and no with our beloved Canva!

I respect you and the work you do to keep the population informed on the new features of Canva. My thanks. May suggest that you shorten your intro and talk about a product from 3 mins to 1 minute? I have already tried the product and know about it but I still watch it just to know your point of view. Some people actually open Canva and follow your steps while watching your video. I think, and this is my view only, shorten your intro or talk for 1 min and jump right into the product. Talk about it later or tell us to read the description for more information 🙏 again regardless I respect you and will still watch your videos with 30 mins intro. Because you deserve our view and support. Thank you.

How dp you include pics and video clips into Magic write . Is there another program tp add them in with, and where do you find the generic clips and pics. Also you mention something about Teams. Can a neophite like me join a Team?
Magic Write will only generate text for now. Canva has another app called "Text to Image" which will allow you to generate photos based on a prompt (like Midjourney or DALL-E).
You can find plenty of images and video clips in the Canva media libraries, under the "Elements" tab. Canva for Teams is if you work with a team, that's another Canva Plan. You can learn more about it here: www.canva.com/for-teams/

Hi Ronny! Great video (as always). Unfortunately magic write doesn't seem to work in my account. I live in Belgium and am working on a canva for education account. I tried to swich the language to Englisch in stead of Dutch but that doesn't do the trick. Also tried to log out and log in again. I know it doesn't work in Dutch but I would like to use it in Englisch. Any other suggestions? Thx!

like I mention in the video, Magic Write is *NOT* available in Education accounts. Try logging in from a regular account, it should be there.
Can you use Magic Write with Canva for Education? How do you do it? I can't seem to make it work on iPad or my computer. However it does work with with the non educational version. Will it be available for the Educational Version?

or better said the changes and disruption it implies (along with all the other generative AI projects going on) in our societies, is pretty scary.
I'm not sure what to think about it (from an ethical standpoint) yet, but it would also be foolish to refuse to live with our time.

Make sure you:
- Are in a Canva Doc (start from the “Doc” icon on the homepage)
- Are using Canva in English (account’s language)
- Search for it either with the “+” button on your page or the “/“ key to bring up Slash Magic

I have access to docs - but my top option is not Magic Write but Design - do you know why and if there is anything I can do to bring up Magic Write? I have a "normal" Pro account (in Danish). The (+) menu is translated to danish - but Magic Write is missing.
This is also true for me. Another issue that will keep me from switching my whole work flow to Canva is that i can't find a way to control page breaks so the downloaded pdf of the document looks unprofessional splitting tables and images wherever it wants to with no control from me.

Not sure why you are not seeing Magic Write on your phone. Do you see it on Desktop?
