I suggest a new feature that Canva can implement maybe soon. The print option directly to your printer. If they can implement this feature, we won't have to export the design and we can directly print a document without leaving Canva.
I don’t mind the videos being long and detailed. That’s why I’m here. Great video. I hope Canva adds Overlays so I can make my fonts, elements …gold,silver etc

As always, the one-stop-place for Canva tutorials! What a difference you make to my life!! Really …! Can I ask you a favour? I’m struggling to create a nice timing when using several elements. I would like to have the option to have all the elements ALWAYS being “unfolded” on the timeline below, so I can position the elements relative to each other. Now I have to select them, make the changes, but once clicked on another element, I lose the selection. Very unhandy and time consuming… Hopefully you can imagine what I’m struggling with…? Thx in advance! Lieven

The video length is perfect, as you had a lot of new content. It’s easier to pause and come back than to search for a part 2 or 3 so don’t change what your doing. Your content is fabulous and on point and easy to follow and I love the funny little graphics you drop into the content, they make me laugh. Is there any way of editing the subtitles? I'm an old school typist and spelling mistakes realllllyyyyyy irritate me e.g. your name came up as running and I would have loved to be able to change this to read Ronny. Very cool the closed captioning. If that get's ported to video.. and then you can modify the color, size, timing, etc.. to create short videos that have tiktok/instram captions.. that could be a serious game changer. I'd be creating most of my shorts then in Canva.
I haven't checked out the new features or if someone has already mentioned it, but it would be nice if you could mirror text on top of an image without having to save it and then bring it back in.
So that you know where I'm coming from I am a retired college art professor, and I greatly appreciate and think your new speed with less jump cuts is much easier to follow. Maybe we should all just take a vantage of the ability to adjust the speed. However, the jump cuts are problem for me. I have been using Canva for over a year and find it incredible program. However, I am now concerned with the rapidity of their improvements. It could suffer from the same kind of bloat and level of difficulty found in Photoshop. Thanks for your great work.

I love the detail you go in. I don't mind the length of your videos. If you would prefer to make shorter you could break it up into the categories and your title would be the new features in that particular category. But I am used to you doing thorough teachings so it's fine with me. 😊
Hi Ronnie, yes we love the format. However for years I and others have been asking for clipping masks as well as a freehand eraser tool. These two things would really be great to have. Also since many of us use a Canva to create planners Can we see at least 500 page limit rather than 200? Do you see any of these coming down the pipeline soon?

Hi there 👋 You can achieve that by creating a new Brand Kit for that specific business/project. Do so (if you are using Canva Pro) from the "Brand Hub" tab on the Canva Homepage > Add New.
Seems like you can add music (or some sound) over the original sound in a video? I take a lot of short videos at the beach and the wind is always an issue.
Where does the text to picture feature fall as far as commercial use? For example, if I use text to picture to create an image, can I also use that as a PNG on merchandise or even as its own file commercially?
The copyright VS AI debate is something that is very hot right now. Unfortunately, it's still a gray area and I, certainly, wouldn't pretend I know the answers to that. Feel free to have a look at Canva's licensing agreements here to know what you can/can't do: www.canva.com/help/article/licenses-copyright-commercial-use
The AÍ is the right way to go for Canva to keep up but at the moment chatgpt is by far the best option out there, it has a lot more to it that canvas and is free of course, I use it in the same way I use pixels etc to help with Canva and keep it all a free process.
I agree with you about ChatGPT being superior to Canva's Magic Write. I believe we will see way more platform integrating some sort of variation of ChatGPT in the coming month. And, BTW, we've got some ChatGPT tutorials coming to this channel 😉
I love these What’s new-videoes and I don’t mind, if they get to be a little long 👍😃 Regarding Magic Write: Do you know, why it’s not an option in my Canva Pro Danish? I would understand, if it doesn’t understand danish (yet) - but we can’t even write in English - the Magic Write-option simply isn’t on the list of options 😳
I’d like an option to input sizes on shapes and frames so that if I’m adding multiple images and want them all to be the same size I can easily set the numbers rather than trying to eye them up against each other.

Maybe we should all just take a vantage of the ability to adjust the speed. However, the jump cuts are problem for me. I have been using Canva for over a year and find it incredible program. However, I am now concerned with the rapidity of their improvements. It could suffer from the same kind of bloat and level of difficulty found in Photoshop. Thanks for your great work.

Another great video with features. We are creating a new website and I would love to create a video announcing this with an opening curtain where text appears as the curtains open. I'm struggling to find this on Canva... what's the correct way of doing this? Many thanks for your help!
You could try to use the curtain "Magic Shortcut" in Presentation mode.

It can only be modified by moving the slider (transition length), you cannot adjust the transition by pulling the purple zone.
I love the detail you go in. I don't mind the length of your videos. If you would prefer to make shorter you could break it up into the categories and your title would be the new features in that particular category. But I am used to you doing thorough teachings so it's fine with me. 😊

Hi Ronnie, yes we love the format. However for years I and others have been asking for clipping masks as well as a freehand eraser tool. These two things would really be great to have. Also since many of us use a Canva to create planners Can we see at least 500 page limit rather than 200? Do you see any of these coming down the pipeline soon?

Do so (if you are using Canva Pro) from the "Brand Hub" tab on the Canva Homepage > Add New.

Seems like you can add music (or some sound) over the original sound in a video? I take a lot of short videos at the beach and the wind is always an issue.

Where does the text to picture feature fall as far as commercial use? For example, if I use text to picture to create an image, can I also use that as a PNG on merchandise or even as its own file commercially?
The copyright VS AI debate is something that is very hot right now. Unfortunately, it's still a gray area and I, certainly, wouldn't pretend I know the answers to that.

The AÍ is the right way to go for Canva to keep up but at the moment chatgpt is by far the best option out there, it has a lot more to it that canvas and is free of course, I use it in the same way I use pixels etc to help with Canva and keep it all a free process.
I agree with you about ChatGPT being superior to Canva's Magic Write.
I believe we will see way more platform integrating some sort of variation of ChatGPT in the coming month.
And, BTW, we've got some ChatGPT tutorials coming to this channel 😉

I’d like an option to input sizes on shapes and frames so that if I’m adding multiple images and want them all to be the same size I can easily set the numbers rather than trying to eye them up against each other.
