Shani has become my absolute favorite classical guitarist, her talent and her feminin touch in her right hand and tone is the most beautifull i heard so far and she is also a very nice person to 💚
One of those cases in which the the intelligence and creativity of the performer surpasses the actual music performed. Not that there’s anything wrong with the music as written. Not very deep, inconsequential bonbon. It’s a toy through which the performer shares not only her beautiful sound and technical, rhythmical control, but also her mind. She is one of those who can share the beauty of her mind in dialogue with itself. Pretty rare these days.
I was studying Giuliani seriously when I chose a very different career path after much consideration so many decades ago. In this performance I hear an old friend calling. Now where did I put that guitar?
She plays with her Heart and Soul Intimated by her facial expressions and head movements…and her fingers caress the strings as she cuddles her guitar with utmost strokes.Guitar and Guitarist in ONE ACCORD.Watchful ListenersTune their ears wanting NO NOTES to escape their longing hearts….the joyful soul in Stillness Contentment.
