    I'n not sure how to spell it, but the girl with ceribral paulsi (splg?) deserves credit. I have a friend who has the same condition, it affect her stamina and lungs and she also joined choir in high school. I was so proud of her, and look up to her. People who refuse to be crippled and decide to live like just like us...if not with even better quality and vigor are true heroes. And seeing this is truly inspiring, you all are amazing.

    I'm thrilled to know that I was wrong. Thank you for your reply. Your original comment did leave the impression that you were making fun of him. Maybe I'm just a bit protective of the kids and I apologize for drawing an incorrect conclusion. I will take your advice to ask questions first.

    You mean you have never had a song move you to that length? Of all the crap in this world, you decide to focus your energy on someone who obviously has a passion for the music, Shame on you. Learn some tolerance of people and maybe, just maybe, you will help make this world a better place. Like back row, seventh from the left did for all of us.

    It's kind of stupid to sing songs from a cartoon isn't it?

    • @plusfc
      @plusfc 5 років тому

      You mean to say "sing" not "sign"? And why would it be stupid? It's a beautiful song. I personally don't care what the song was "used" for.

      How is it beautiful?
      What language is that?
      As a whole it sounds like shit.
      I listened to the original, it sounds like shit too.
      It sounds like something they cobbled together, there's nothing catchy about the song at all.
      When they assemble these kids and the kids make an effort, give them a song that has the chance to sound good instead of something to put on a multi-cultural hat with.
      People are way too preoccupied with that nonsense.

    • @plusfc44
      @plusfc44  5 років тому

      @@kevinchurch5934, obviously you have different taste in music than I do. And that's fine. Elton John wrote "The Circle of Life" and I personally don't think it sounds "cobbled together or not catchy". The language is Swahili. The kids had to learn to pronounce the Swahili words correctly. It was fun for them. I am absolutely positive that this song was not chosen to "put on a multi-cultural hat". Palatine High School is very culturally diverse, but unfortunately the choir didn't represent that back when my daughter went there. Whatever style of music you like, I hope you embrace it and let it fill you with joy. This certainly did for those of us who were in the audience and the kids on stage. Peace.

      I spend time trying to find songs for my mother who is in a nursing home with alzheimer's, it's very frustrating to keep running into this multi-cultural stuff and being unable to find regular music sung by choruses that she can relate to

    • @plusfc44
      @plusfc44  5 років тому

      @@kevinchurch5934 That is really nice of you to find music to bring joy to your mom. I'm in touch with some musical groups and perhaps can forward some links to choir music that she might like. If you want to share her age and what she likes, I can ask around. I understand if you want to keep your info private, but if I can help, I will. By the way, try searching for Indigo Jazz at Palatine High School. They did some amazing stuff. ua-cam.com/video/6z3_JllWiRM/v-deo.html
