Linda Cardelini was a treasured character of Boy meets World! If I was Cory, I've would have fallen for Lauren like he did. Not cause I don't like Topanga but Lauren is perfect. Her essence is true and home-grown deep. I wouldn't have not resisted in the end. I would have been not capable for not falling for Lauren.
The choices in voice intonation, the smiling with her eyes, the longing glances, the head tilts, the lip shapes, the timing in her blinking, the hair control and manipulation, the sparkle in her eyes!! Linda's acting in these scenes was top tier. She truly embodied Lauren. And while her character would be able to carry the show with Cory as interesting main characters, Lauren absolutely could've become Cory's new love in life for a 'happily ever after' type ending, imo.
Lauren was a home wrecker but she was genuinely into Cory. She fell into temptation as much as Cory did if not more because you could see her conflict despite being the "bad girl".
Lauren was a home wrecker trying to break up a happy home luckily Cory & Topanga was able to get through this. I can't blame Cory she was a baddie lol😂😂😂.
as much as i liked topang and corey getting married and having a sort of happily ever after, i think it would of been an interesting if they had them break up and have corey end up with lauren and topanga with someone else as well
Because other than Topanga and Shawn, no one else in the series ever really gave Cory the kind of attention Lauren does. I'm not defending him, but usually Cory's the one who falls head-over-heels, so when he finally does get this attention, he's tempted
i agree w the top comment above plus cory is the last guy you'd expect to be ina situation like this , hes supposed to be like so by the book that now hes put into a situation like this and reacting ina way we never wouldve expected him to , i love it cuz its so real
