The country of tango and libertarian revolution has developed yet another problem. This time, it has nothing to do with inflation, the peso, dollarization, or anything like that. We are talking about drug trafficking and organized crime.
What has happened for drug trafficking to begin causing real havoc in Argentina? What does Javier Milei's government plan to do to address this issue? Could the libertarian government implement a Bukele-style strategy to eradicate the problem at its root? In this video, we tell you all the details.
#Argentina #Narcos #Milei
El salvador has shown how to deal with these narcos
No, they didn’t, they shown how to deal with GANGS.
@@LaGallinaTurulecaa They work hand and hand, do they not? One needs the other.
If you lose the ability to transport and protect a product or control a territory your product doesn't move to where it needs to go for the system to remain functional.
El Salavdor president is using new powers to dictate.
Only commies and criminals cry about El Salvador
MS13 is not El Chapo nor Pablo Escobar. You'll need the US to clear out Narcos
Use stick and a carrot method to deal with corruption in police departments.
Carrot - Increase their salary significantly (that would also increase number of candidates applying to join so better ones could be chosen)
Stick - Introduce very harsh penalties for corruptions among police or other public officials
Corrupt police so do life
Police have families.
Corruption isn't always about money.
The editor sped Josh's voice up a bit on accident, i think.
I'm high and it's realllllllly messing with me
It might be AI
Josh is Red John.
Thats why i wont watch his videos again .
Speed plus accent gave me anxiety
Gangs & gang members in El Salvador were also stupid enough to put a tattoo advertising to everyone within walking distance of them that they're in a gang making it incredibly easy for them to be arrested in such a geographically small & densely populated country. There's also the issue of potential long term authoritarianism and human rights abuses in El Salvador in years/decades after the crisis. While the government has cleaned things up for the moment, it's probably too premature to say that it's been a complete success or that other countries can just replicate El Salvador's success.
Generally the war on drugs leads to more crime, more incarcerations and the creation large profitable drug cartels due to the higher drug prices. If was as easy to end the war on drugs everywhere else as it was in El Salvador, Mexico, Brazil and the United States would still be neck deep in forever drug wars as they double down on tough on crime approaches.
I think there's a helium leak in that studio.
Haha indeed. Seems like the audio is at 1.1X the regular speed.
The little boy from Rosario 🐐
Argentina needs to follow El Salvador policy on criminals!
Why did Visualpolitik replace their 4k camera with a 420p one? Running into hard times and having to sell assets?
Its a metaphor for MIlei's policies XD
It's probably just UA-cam processing taking forever.
edit: I didn't see it taking 5+ days before today, so I'm much less confident in this comment now.
Who even notices 4k
420p is like something out of 2009
They were told to tone down on the "quality" of their videos, so they did....without sacrificing content.
Dont cry for me Argentina
😭😭 I can't help myself!!😭😭
😢
Milei is making waves, cope harder.
As a paraguayan civil pilot I'll let you know, some years ago, maybe 5 or more the capital's airport received an radar/equipment update to fulfill international standards, so we got the radar. Is the reporting that is being silenced from chain of command. In my formation years I asked ATC crew and a few of them told me that is insane how many aircrafts are moving at night in the regions without flight plans being submitted and so on. Corruption at its best.
Finding the right mix of military intervention is further prove of Bukele's political genius.
Label them as domestic terrorists. Then, the military can respond. Could even do remote Drone strikes
The Obama method “? China makes decent military drones for a good price… I think they could afford it.
Yeah but he did some shady things to acheive it.
Please make a video about this very problem here in Brazil... It is much massive.. they have already infiltrated in the judiciary, besides all others..
This channel won't report negative things about Brazil while Lula is in power. This is a pro-Marxist and Pro-WEF outlet.
the voice of josh changed?
It's reverse puberty.
The entire video is sped up.
Rosario has been this way for quite a long time. The reason the problem has crossed over to the general public in very recent times, is because the new government has taken away the privileges of the narco prisoners. They have had phones, parties and girls within the prisons. This has now stopped.
What?!? Do tell. You feel they are sending a message, revenge, disorder when gang leaders cannot maintain control through their phone while in prison?
Sounds right. I was in Arg 11 years ago. Hard to believe the use of drugs could have climbed any higher, already very high.
Milei you are a hero!
Cry for Argentina 😪
480p??
Why is this video only 480p quality? Does anyone else have this problem?
Turn Roasio into an Autonomous City... There are 6 administrative Districts; Center, North, Northwest, West, Southwest, and South. Find the districts where the problem is biggest. Give Residents and property owners the ability to create and join Special Zones similar to Special Economic Zones... In each of these zones... create experiments... like total drug legalization... relaxation of gun control etc. Let the local people fix their own problems...
It would just become a narco-kingdom ruled by the cartels.
Hola, soy de Rosario Argentina (no Roasio)
no se puede abandonar a una de las principales ciudades del país, eso provocaría una extensión del problema a otros lugares, aparte no sólo el problema es Rosario si no también las fronteras de Argentina
I am 4.5 minutes into this video, and I'm exhausted. Please tell me the 1.5 times speed buff was an accident 😂
Why doesn’t Argentina just hire a few Singaporean bureaucrats to clean things up and run the economy? Argentina will become Singapore in a decade.
With chewing bubblegum being illegal?
Can’t get any worse
I don't think this is how things works.
@@ToProsca of course, all suboptimal behavior will be illegal. First thing will be the banning tango 💃🏻… a ridiculous dance and waste of time!
Sovereignty - a country is supose to manage itself.
There is no "once and for all" with fighting drug trafficking.
Just wondering how russians reacted to Bandera plan ))
They will support the narcos😅
11:43 (and lots of other times), can anyone tell me what that vehicle is? Not something I recognize and haven't found much on google.
Did the mixing go wrong for this one? Sounds a bit like you took a hit of helium before doing the voiceover.
Spoiler: Argentina won't become a narco-state
Argentina is a narco state... not as big as Colombia but big enogh... 😂
@@peterpanini96 Venezuela*
@@williamalfonso1373 Different cuts of the same cloth.
@@peterpanini96 you even know the meaning of narco state?

1. Build a latin special anti narco-teror unit, rotate each unit head every few year to avoid corruption..
2.legalized marijuana, with strict access...
3. Paid US to hold the top leader in US maximum prison.
4. build better therapy system for addiction victim
Isn't that simple, doesn't matter how great is your army they'll always be able to hide, just look at US in Afghanistan.
The brazilian army killed hundreds of members from this gangs they always appear again, because in Paraguay they're able to buy this old soviet guns legally.
And cocaine, since it has picked up popularity, too. Spend the money on harm reduction instead of policing users.
you forgot to mention fix economy and education. without this... all of the above is impossible
Turns out that most people turn down the setting to save data.
4:47 editor wtf is this?
he cant get a single word across with out loudly farting into his hands
Joshs voice has been changed to hide his voice from the narcos
Serios question, why the dont controll the river?
Corruption
Slowling down legal trade using the river would cost millions in time and enforcement.
It would have to be controlled by both countries as the river is shared border
What are those huge bullets in first 15 seconds? Are they like mini grenades?
I am from Rosario, its a battlefield .
He must do a El Salvador
People living under poverty line in Argentina is now close to 60% shockingly
Was over 60 in december. Stop watching yellow journal infographs and learn to google shit for yourself.
Currently argie deflation in exchanges, poverty is about 4 times higher in Colombia and 1,4 in Bolivia, minimum wage is 180k and median wage is almost double that. This is the report, made by UNICEF Argentina annoyingly split apart since yt hates offsite links, ht tps : / / ww w . unicef .o rg/argent ina/info rmes/ info rme-pobr eza
I don't expect you to read Spanish, but if you download the PDF and translate it you'll find it states the data comes from INDEC, which is the local institution that uses national poverty lines which give results a lot less sensationalized.
The numbers are the same under the left, milei have the balls to show it and is trying to solve the problem. Unlike the left that hide the numbers and did everything to worsen the situation
Shocking but not surprising.
They're already living in poverty under the leftist government. Milei just showed the truth and offered a solution. But leftist find that is better to hide the truth and do a worsening of the problem
That’s higher than Mexico and even some African countries.
Label them as domestic terrorists. Then, the military can respond. Could even do remote Drone strikes
Why is Josh being edited several times during every sentence?
Wow, Milei need a page from El Salvador.🔥🔥🔥
Excellent video.
Sources?
Did you work for tescos
He'd need to follow the Bukele Recipe.🔫
For weed the easy way is legalise it tax, register & promote safe use, like edibles & vapes instead of combustion also allow for home growing
480p ? what is this 2009?
Theory: Silver or Led
Practice: Gold or Copper
Milie is libertarian so legalize the drugs?! As has been demonstrated in other countries starting with alcohol in the USA, prohibition doesn’t and never will work. It doesn’t even work in Saudi Arabia where death is the penalty for alcohol
Libertarian in Argentina means Fascism so NO!
@@larryc1616 What are you saying? Milei is fascist? Doubt it.

Wtf is up with the editing on this video, from Joshs voice to the extremely choppy cuts. Tbh i usually wouldnt care or comment on this type of stuff on other videos but looks so out of place compared 99% of VisualPoliticks other content which always slick
For a second I thought this video was going to be the most savvy advertisement for "Clash of Clans" and now I don't know whether to be disappointed or grateful.
México: "Bienvenido al club"
Please do one for Costa Rica, Narcos are killing freely
Brazil has entire neighborhoods completely taken by gangs, the police and all sorts of public services can't get in.
The residents all become prisoners in their own homes.
Actually, nationwide we have grown used to living inside our own little private prisons, electric fences, alarm systems. It's a shame.
Singapore is an autocracy.
Look to Singapore.
Like other comments say, eventually south america will learn, El Salvador is leading the way.
480p? 🤢 What year is this?!
2004
Josh sounds like he has a helium voice.
There goes my dream of a trip to Buenos Aires 🫠
Buenos Aires is safe, Argentina as a whole has one of the lowest murder rates in Latin America (as the video says at the beginning), the problem is localized in the city of Rosario.
480p?
Is it only me that kept thinking he meant tango the drink 😂
Markets will emerge whether it’s legal or not.
Here in South Africa it’s bad too. Looks like democracy isn’t working too well. Corruption and drugs are slowly taking over the democratic world 😢
The third world perhaps
I know a way, legalization.
I doubt the Narcos will be paying taxes.
Like which country?
Take a peek on the Swiss...
One size does not fit all.
There are many social/cultural/economic factors to consider.
It is not as simple as just _legalization._
Legalization of extortion and cocaine traffic? That's nuts.
Go full En Salvador, brother.
Visualpolitik 🤝 Argentina
A match made in heaven 😂
Could you make a video about elsalvadors president?
Combine the approach with legalization of marihuana.
Mile, please take a note from Bukele. Don't let these people break the great work you haver started.
Minister of security Patricia Bulrich is implementing the same plan than Bukele, she even had a reunion with him. That is why the prison picture looks so similar.
Corruption leading to compromised quality standards?
Didn’t he wear a tiny hat? If sure milea is fine
Can always hug them, worked for mexico, ei AMLO
And tell on them with mom too 😂😂😂.
I live in the USA and I propose we get Javier Milei for President, and Bukele for VP.
Never considered this being a great idea, but narco traffic is such a huge issue I’m starting to wonder with we should legalize freakin everything.
I mean survival of the fittest (smartest) right? If we make most recreational drugs legal and ensure they are properly labeled and manufactured only the people too dumb or to weak to control themselves will end up OD.
The majority of people already know drugs are bad, so if they choose to abuse them it’s on them.
This is obviously being blown out of proportion by Milei’s government to excuse the use of larger military presence despite calling himself a “libertarian”. He can use this as shield when his base begins calling him out for that move.
Nobody is touching him
Melei is exactly the sort of leader Argentina can rely upon to balance effectiveness with restraint.
what a waste of money and lives
Ah yes, mass arrests very Libertarian of him.
As a Libertarian, shouldn't Milei try legalisation?
And private security intervening, not national police/military.
Milie will have to do the El Salvador anti crime plan. Big 70 person round up.
The Sinaloa of Argentina hahaha.
The Austrian painter was right
He's a Libertarian, I'm sure if it was politically viable, he'd legalize all drugs. But saddly it's not...
Those "Visual Politik viewers..." and "Visual Politik community..." catchphrases you're using are getting pretty annoying...other than that - great content.

His voice is really off on the audio.. it makes it almost unwatchable 😂
Why don't they put narcos out of business with legalization?
Because most of their sales are beyond Argentina
@@Andronichuk What difference does it make if the supply chain isn't legal?
@@hamsterg0d because legalising it in Argentina won't put the narcos out of business... But it will put Argentina out of business from the sanctions on trade from Argentina that will be the result.
@@Andronichuk It will in Argentina. If countries want to do the same it will there too.
@@hamsterg0d how will it put them out of business if most of their business is export?
Easy answer woul be thet coverment would be selling cocaine cheaper than the narcos would.
