I’m glad to see CEC came to their senses and decided to leave some of the animatronics stages alone. It would also be neat if one of the retro locations was made to replicate a PTT, with recessed lighting and black or brown ceilings and some of the play equipment and features from that era.
Chuck E Cheese in Hicksville NY is my local store, and even I'm glad that they are keeping the 1 stage cause its been in amazing condition and even it has been their for 30 years in Hicksville NY from January 24th 1994 till June 2024

As a person that grew up with the CEC 3-Stage, I am very excited for this treatment that the Pineville location is getting. I hope as well that they could bring back the Pizzacam animatronic to that location, since the stage is being saved.
0:45 Hicksville is indeed a fan favorite,also there tech Tyler(Rockafire moon)dis and continues to do a stellar job at restoring the stage,only a few months ago Pasqually and Jasper barely worked and the others were in pretty rough shape,and in only like a month he fixed up the entire show mechanclly,plus fixed a bunch of the lighting effects

I think it would've been a good idea to keep at least one animatronic from each location and put them on display as a historical piece, while having these 5 locations be the last to have performing shows. In fact, if the rumours are true, they could put that 16M bot from Nanuet in a store that doesn't have animatronics as a similar display
I’m from maryland and grew up going to the CEC in laurel which happened to have a 3 stage. I went probably thousands of times as a kid it was my favorite place to go. It’s a shame they removed the robots on that stage I remembered they were always so cool. They had them up until 2022/2023 I think. I would go there for pizza in 2020/2021 and the robots were still there but didn’t move just stood there like statues. I wish they could’ve saved it. It used to be a showbizz pizza that my mom went too as a kid

As someone who has had the chance to go to Pineville and live near it it is a treat to see but I’m kind of sad that the Roadside won’t be saved as it is my childhood location
Would've loved to see a Road stage saved, but I am perfectly fine with what they're doing. They've completely exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to visit these locations.
I’m also hearing that Pineville might get a pizza cam soon so im guessing the Laurel Maryland Pizza cam is gonna get sent to Pineville cuz there pizza cam and 3 stage were sent to the SPT Warehouse and I’m also guessing they might use the pizza cam in Cec corporate office in dept 18
I really hope the employees at the remaining animatronic locations keep the animatronics in good condition, it sucks how horrible a lot of them have become. There wouldnt be a point in keeping them if they arent going to maintain them well
So I’m just gonna say this, the difference between Northridge and Hicksville is Northridge has a 2 stage which as implied is 2 stages, but not in the sense like a 3 stage because it’s still technically on one stage, however one of the characters is separated, from the others. While Hicksville has a one stage where none of the characters are separated from one another
If it helps, there’s a place called Gulliver’s Kingdom that has retro fits of the rockafire animatronics! (Yeah, they aren’t Chuck E. Cheese animatronics, but they’re the same as the three stage ones accept they’re all bears aside from Fatz and Rofle/Earl, but you may enjoy it!)

Personally I would've preferred Middletowns 1 stage to be kept insted of hikishvil as Middletown is a underated location having a really good condition 1 stage and being one of the last 1 stages to have a turn n table for chuck e. I would've liked to see them reprogram it. Also they have all 5 phase 3 carecter portrets next to each other witch I think was really cool.

I am still frustrated about what they did to Huntsville. What a huge WASTE of a "remodel" to a store that already had a renovated layout way back ago. Cant believe they are doing all this retro stuff now while they missed out on so many great stores such as Springfield Ohio. But oh well, damage has been done so I refuse to visit Huntsville anymore. What a waste of a good store just to have a big TV and dance floor!

I ended up getting ahold of Mark Kupferman, and he said that there is no plan on switching the 16m bot for a 32m.
