  • This is a great card to have if you love the Cinema. If you are Blind, Visually Impaired or have other disabilities, The CEA card is a must
The CEA card allows you and a companion to go to any cinema and pay for just one ticket.
Sounds crazy for a blind person right? BUT, you can watch Audio Description films, Autistic Friendly showings and Caption Movies - so, not so crazy after all :-)
Here is a link to the website where you can easily Apply for or Renew your CEA Card :www.ceacard.co.uk/#main-content

Hi Sophie. Thanks for commenting. Glad you found it of use. It arrives really quickly and I’ve used it loads. Usually, the person going with me and myself split the cost of the one ticket - so, its win win. Enjoy

Thank you for putting this information out! There are two cards in Canada, some help with travel costs and that is a card you obtain with CNIB, another one is access to entertainment and it is for individuals living with any kind of disability and their assistant either gets in free or half off!! I love channels that share resources and great video! Keep going strong friend!

Hi there. Great to gear from you and what happens in other parts of The World. My next vid is about the card that helps us Brits with Travel costs - sounds like we have pretty similar concessions - which is great.
I found it tough finding out about all of this the of thing, so, absolutely - getting these things out there is great, and hopefully makes things a little easier for others. Than you for sharing

I love these videos! Corey and I are sitting here listening to this and love it! We were just having a discussion, we decided that you sound so professional and intelligent, and your voice is perfect, we think you could be on TV or possibly a radio DJ :-) we love your videos, OK, we’re going to go back and listen to the rest :-) Matt and Corey

Matt and Corey - you are so kind with your comments. I possibly have the face for Radio - but not TV haha. I am super delighted that you like them. I am trying my best to get more confident with the videos - but still a long way to go. Thanks you so much for your encouragement. Love you guys x

Thats awesome Neil.Over here in the UK, we have different cards for different concessions etc - Thats why I don't think everyone knows of them, which Is why I'm doing these videos really. Would be much easier if we had the one card like your CNIB card for sure

Hi. Here in the UK, you can get what is called a CEA card, depending on your circumstances ) This card doesn't get the disabled person a discount, BUT, your companion gets in for free - so, in effect, two tickets for the price of 1. It is then assumed that any help you may need to find a seat, get to the toilet, or for food etc is provided by your companion - hence their free ticket.
