Superior instructional video man. We will take note of your warning on neodymium magnets. Several cookware mods are using these same types of small magnets. Perhaps, it may not be a good idea to carry these modded cookpots in the field for the reasons you state in the video. SO, thank you for both the great reflector idea and the heads-up on the magnets.
@NewHampshireJack Thanks jack. As far as the magnets go try an experiment. Sit the item on the ground take a compass reading. walk a few meters from it take another reading, repeat one more time. Thats what I did and my compass was thrown off 3 degrees when I was close to my shade or when I had it in the pack on my back. So that's why I came up with this MYOG. Have a great day.
I cut the inside silver foil from a tea bag wrapper packet that fits within 3 of the 4 metal arms around the globe of the lamp so only 1/4 of the globe has light emitting. This makes it more directional and reduces visibility from the rear. Peace
Very educational. A super great MYOG. Thanks for sharing.
@pp-nf3sv Glad you liked it.
You came up with a very original idea. Interesting video👍🤝
@Wald-Bushcraft Thanks brother.
