PEYAJI | KOLKATA STYLE ONION PAKODA | MONSOON SPECIAL RECIPE | ONION FRITTERS | ONION PAKODA | BENGALI STYLE PEYAJI | CRISPY PYAZI | KANDA BHAJI | POPULAR EVENICK SNACKS | TEA-TIME SNACKS
Ingredients:- Onions - 2 medium sized (chopped), Green Chillies - 2 (finely chopped), Besan - 2 tspn, Maida - 1 tspn, Rice Flour - 1 tspn, Turmeric Powder - ½ tspn, Red Chilli Powder - 1 tspn, Nigella Seeds - ½ tspn, Chaat Masala - 1 tspn, Salt to taste. Pinch of Sugar, Refined Oil.
Cooking Process:-
i) Preparing the Mixture - Take a mixing bowl. Add2 medium sized chopped onions. Scrunch the onions well and let the juice come out. Add 2 finely chopped green chillies, 2 tspn besan, 1 tspn maida, 1 tspn rice flour, ½ tspn nigella seeds, 1 tspn red chilli powder, ½ tspn turmeric powder, 1 tspn chaat masala, salt to taste, pinch of sugar and mix well with little water. Add little more besan if needed.
ii) Frying - Deep fry small batches of the mixture until reddish brown. Fry both sides equally and keep aside.
