That's Not even half of the Mumbai Street Food... Frankly Sandwich and SevPuri is only proper mumbai Street food. No Vada pav(Indian Burger) in this tour is big surprise... Coz, Vadapav = Mumbai
Miss those Iranian Keema Pau. Yum ! Back in the day, I would usually go for the 'Keema Ghotala' ....meaning keema with scrambled eggs. Super yum and wholesome. Thanks for visiting Mumbai.
If you gonna eat super tasty and super healthy foods you must try touring in local villages they have the authentic taste which you will never found in the restaurant's
I am Bengali born in Kolkata but living in Mumbai for 10+ years. I'd like to know why this food tour guide suggests everything but not the local Maharashtrian food. I've seen her other videos with another vlogger as well, where she takes the bloggers to different places, and it's not bad but why try Kerala thali or any other regional food in Mumbai? You can just visit the place for their authentic traditional food.
Her food tour is more like a historical tour, where she explains about Indian culture and history during the food tour. All the places we stopped by had some cultural reference and was part of the history lesson, even though only the food part was featured in the video 😊
We’re glad you liked it!! We love getting recommendations from locals, which is why we got a guide to bring us to the most recommended spots so that we can make sure that we try as many dishes as we can and give our honest opinions about them. All our reactions and opinions on the food are based on our own perspective, and we honestly loved all of them! Indian food is so interesting and diverse - we can’t wait to try more! ❤️
Yes, hopefully next time we can try! It’s very hard to fit all the food in one video, we were already so full after trying 10+ dishes in one go! But everything we tried was great and we can’t wait to try more amazing food here next time 😊

Totally misguided regarding mumbai street food, have seen this guide( indian girl) in couple of videos she shows u south indian restaurant which is not at all mumbai street food. And don't know why she is not showing famous mumbai street food vadavpav.
I think it’s hard to do a 100% complete street food tour, considering how many delicious food and dishes there are in India! Also, many people will have different opinions on what should/ should not be included, so it’s impossible to please everyone by trying them all. There will of course be some dishes that we wont be able to try all in one day, as it was already a 5 hour tour and there are still so many we weren’t able to try. I think she was very good because we all enjoyed the tour and every dish we tried was amazing, helping us appreciate Indian cuisine and learning a bit about the history at the same time ❤️ hopefully next time we will be able to try vadavpav, we’ve heard a lot of great things about it! 👍🏽 Thanks so much for watching ❤️🙏🏽🇮🇳
She did one South Indian restaurant and everything else was Western (not Marathi, I agree). I think she tried to cover the range of different regional cuisines one can sample in Mumbai. That said, I would not label this street food in the Indian sense. Most of these are proper meals.
@@EagleOverTheSea we love how we were able to try so many different varieties in one city - it helped us appreciate how diverse Indian cuisine is! There’s so many more amazing Indian dishes to try while we’re here ❤️

Honestly, Mumbai is at more of a Bottom pole when it comes to good Street Food (and Food in General). Should have chosen Delhi, Indore, or even Bangalore.
I think you have been mislead by lady as most of the food / street food are missing in list. Viz. Food : 1. Puranpoli 2. Kolhapuri tambda(red) pandhra (white) rassa 3. Malvani style seafood with solkadhi/ kokum juice Street food: 1. Vada-pav 2. Pav-bhaji 3. Pani-puri 4. Dahipuri 5. Bhel I think it's better to do do little research rather than hiring misleading guides......
We’ve tried some of the items on that list and they were all delicious! We weren’t able to include everything in this video as it was already very long, and don’t worry we hope to try everything else!

So apparently, India is a technologically advanced country. We have maths and computer science gurus, a nuclear power, have sent orbiters to Mars. But it appears that in the middle ages when the world was creating spoons and knives and folks and other cutlery, Indians did not get the memo for the meeting. We were good until fire was discovered but we never evolved to create silverware and then suddenly leapfrogged to modern tech. So Indians still eat with their hands! Who in their right mind is selling eating with hands as Indian culture?
I think the point was to show the progression, traditions and history of the cuisine - just like in many other countries, eating with your hands is part of the experience. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t use cutlery nowadays - it is just to highlight the traditions that were important to the historical aspect of the dishes 😊
Eating with hands is recommended in Ayurveda because you get the sense of touch and is very much part of Indian culture. Everyone eats with their hands because of cultural and ayurvedic traditions.
