Start with your mixer already in what youre mixing. Makes less of a mess. Scones here are scones. Buttermilk biscuits or baking powder biscuits are served a lot with chicken gravy. We also have them with butter and jelly/jam. My family puts them on top of cowboy burgers (pot with baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, bacon, and hamburger patties. Lay the biscuits on top and pop in the oven. )

One trick that I find useful for baking is to use half of the cookie cutters first, and then roll the excess dough into a ball and flatten it out then use the rest of the cookie cutters. This is just a trick for when you can't find enough space for all of your cookie cutters.
