Even in the picture where you said you were looking tired and the contractions were hurting you you look gorgeous. Thanks for all this wonderful information as well. It will help many becoming moms
You are just glowing from within, Janni! And you seem even calmer and more "confident" (in a lack of a better word) after Leia as well. Really happy for you guys!
I love you! This video makes me love women so much! Getting our eye lashes and brows done before delivery🤣so relatable. And being such a warrior through the entire process before birth, keeping calm even though we have no clue what do to! Funny bc women have given birth so many times and it’s always like ??? You’re truly amazing❤️thank you for sharing xx
I just became a grandpa for the first time. We were exactly one week behind you so when I watched your vlog I felt connected to every step of the experience. I'm so grateful to you! This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen. So much love! Such a beautiful miracle! Please know what a gift it has been for me to see every experience, hear every thought and feeling, and to know what to expect here in our family. You're vlog is a great gift to me. Bless you!!!
It is the most natural thing. Women are more than capable to do so. I had both my children without one and I never considered having one. Women should be more encouraged not to have one instead of spreading fear for the pain.
@@pischrelli yes for centuries women have done it the “old fashion” way. I didn’t have one with my son, and now that I know what I’m in for I’m planning on a natural home birth for my next one when I do end up pregnant.
Subscriber from Scotland here and our birth stories are so similar! Had my daughter nearly 3 years ago and now I’m expecting twins!! You are glowing, congrats to you and your lovely family! Xx
It would be cool to compair your birth stories with your sister's. I am sure you did a sweedish podcast on the subject, but a vlog maybe were you guys do a zoom Q and A🤪
It comes from the film Colombiana, a French film from 2011. The girl's name in the film is Cataleya but Janni said in a previous video they chose the short version of it.
Great to hear your perspective of the night. Saw the video on Jons channel. Beautiful girl. Congratulations!!!! BTW the English word is dilated not open. You experienced "The miracle of childbirth".
Omg I can’t even imagine how crazy it is to not have an epidural. I’m so happy for you and Jon and your beautiful family. So glad you didn’t have to wear a face mask because I did and it was terrible. Congratulations once again ❤️
Hi Janni! I know that this is very personal but so curious to know what you did with the umbilical cord as you never mentioned it? Did you wait until it was completely white? Did you donate it or save it to use the cells for the future? Thanks a lot!
What a lovely video - thankyou for sharing such sacred moments in your life - your vloggs have such a good vibe - it feels like we came round for a coffee and a chat 🌻
Thanks for sharing your story, I’m glad you got to hospital in time, and that everything went fine.🌷❤ I can assure you girls that even a long birth is an amazing experience!😊Mine were both 24 hours, and then Janni, your not feeling fine between the contractions, because you are so exhausted. But that’s only natural. Funny you say that about feeling like an animal, because during my first delivery I didn’t get epidural until the last hour and was not to much help. But the hours before the birth the contractions made me /my body scream- it came from deep within my body- I could not have stopped it of lowered it if I got a million! That was very weird.. and painful. But then a nice midwife started her shift, and she started put up epidural at once, and I felt safe. ❤And believe me, it was the best moment in my life (together with birth nr two and some personal stories😉)- I wanted to shout out the good news from the window, I was so happy.❤🥰 So yes to epidural and what ever is needed, because every one is different, and specially in the first part, so you are not exhausted when the pushing starts. They can adjust a little in how munch epidural they give you, and I agree Janni, that to feel the contractions, how the body works, and you can “teamwork with your body” by pushing when the body pushes, is very special and valuable. ❤🥰 I’m so happy for you, and good wishes to all your beautiful family! And very cute names Leon and Lea.❤❤🥰
The birth of our second child also happened very fast. From the 1st contraction to his birth, 1h and 40 min, again no epidural, but the contractions were really intense from the beginning.
Hade också en snabb förlossning, vaknade 4:15 och av att jag började få verkar 6:15 var han ute. Har 1 timme till sjukhuset så 15 minuter efter att vi kom in var han här 😆 ingen bedövning men det är jag bara glad för 😍
Please get some Princess Leia hair buns for the sides of her head with a white dress for a birth announcement photo! That would look so cute! Leon could wear a Chewbacca/lion costume in the background.
I was born so fast that my mom didn’t even have the time to change, she delivered me in 25 minutes wearing an orange T-shirt 😂 btw you’re STUNNING and Leia is gorgeous, congrats ✨💖
Why do women nowadays believe that they can't give birth without an epidural? It is the most natural thing to do. Why do women think that they can't handle the pain? I gave birth to both my children without an epidural and yes it was painful but that was part of the beautiful journey. As soon as you have your Baby all the pain is forgotten and it was worth it. Women be encouraged to not directly go for one.
just had a peep at one of your countrymen.. that hit the algorithm game.. who had visited you in your unprepped condition.. it's a ball for me I'm still trying to do that dates recipe.. thing.. ooh that
Clearly, you should designate Micheala and Jens as the people to raise your kids if anything happened to you. You should put this in writing along with your wills. Their kids are wild but they know what they're doing.
Janni you just glooooow 😍 also congrats to your little girl! Such a precious angel! 😇
Even in the picture where you said you were looking tired and the contractions were hurting you you look gorgeous. Thanks for all this wonderful information as well. It will help many becoming moms

Giving birth with no epidural is so hard but makes it so rewarding if that makes sense! You did great! And Leia is so beautiful! Congrats 🎉

Such an awesome mom!! ❤️❤️
Why you call her Leia??
Because of the movie COLOMBIANA in Netflix. The main character is called Leia. The explication is in Jonhs video
It comes from the film Colombiana, a French film from 2011. The girl's name in the film is Cataleya but Janni said in a previous video they chose the short version of it.

Congrats! Glad you had to have her naturally.
I love her name and you literally look amazing and congratulations 🎉
Saknar dina vloggar!! Helt otrolig förlossningsberättelse, man får en så positiv bild av att föda barn när man ser den!! KRAM
Yeah, it's weird but no one ever tells you that your body pushes on its own. And no, you really can't stop it. (Althought doing the breathes helps.)
What a lovely video - thankyou for sharing such sacred moments in your life - your vloggs have such a good vibe - it feels like we came round for a coffee and a chat 🌻
U r still vlogging!!! Wow. Last time I watched your vid was 4 years ago I think , when you went to Mauritius

You did really great, Janni! If you have another baby, will you be getting the epidural or will you give birth naturally?
The birth of our second child also happened very fast. From the 1st contraction to his birth, 1h and 40 min, again no epidural, but the contractions were really intense from the beginning.

haha I was the same, in such a hurry 😂😂 my mum almost didn't make it to the hospital

ok but why it is such a big deal? :D I had epidural.. and? :D
why not make it a bit easier on them. Labour is no joke
I was in labour for 27 hours. Veeeery painful. 😩😩😩 But yes: it‘s the best experience ever! I would do it again. Don‘t ask why?! 🤷🏽♀️😂🙈
❤️❤️❤️❤️
