*Hey Guys! I hope you enjoy this video. I'm having fun testing gadgets and gizmos for you. If you missed my previous video, here it is:***ua-cam.com/video/9OfgM_Z31ps/v-deo.html** *Thanks for watching!* 👍
PS I love your videos
kipkay Thank you Kip! Big shout out to your crescent wrench saving the day! 😁😃
HE HAS RISEN!
Hey kip, I have a question about the Air Hawk Pro. How long will it hold a charge?
You should try to make more videos I like your videos
Anyone else find this in their recommendation after forgetting kipkay existed?
Oh I didn't know kipkay was still around. How far he has fallen. Good on him for keeping in though
I really enjoy your content a few years ago. It was really good. Wtf is happening now ?
Even worse now he’s channel is falling to bits I’d be happy if he just put down his channel
yeah man he is my favorite tinkerer on here.
with the speedout you have to really push on the back of the drill and it works great
I just want to say I have the Speed Out and it's worked for me. I think you were drilling the hole to much. Mine has never failed me.
i remember seeing you when i was 10 now im 21 wtf
Jeez. I just found this channel again. Think I have forgotten about it for 10 years
Speed outs work awesome! I used them all the time as a marine mechanic!
yeah just takes a little pressure. he was trying with one hand....
I really appreciate the Napoleon Dynamite reference.
The speed out are reverse thread, you use it in forward motion as the threads turn backwards.
Yeah, he didn't drill the head out in the right direction. I have a similar product called the "Grabit bit" and it works great.
@@galacticgalaxyonezerone7235 Yeah, I used my "Grab It" bits on stripped screws and they got em right out... unless this brand is totally different but it seems like the same thing just different name.
I feel like I haven’t watched one of your video in a long time.
KikoMickey64 same here...
Facts bro the last time I watched him was years ago when he did hacks
Yeah guys. The last time I watched a kip kay video was back in the hack days. I honestly thot something happened to him
you used the screw extractor wrong. you use the "a" side in the tighten position then use the "b" side in reverse
You sure? Might wanna check that again.
Wrong, the drill bit is left hand blade and so is the extractor side. Get educated
Nope, you haven't used one apparently. They are both reverse including the drill side as it keeps it from driving it further or tightening it more as it's drilling.
Wait no way? Kipkay is still kicking strong after more than 10 years? Fantastic.
Yup
That Air Hawk demo was no better than the infomercials do. Pump a completely flat tyre up.
3/8” and 10mm are CLOSE but NOT the same size. 3/8” is a tad smaller. Enough so that a 10mm socket will strip out a 3/8” nut and a 3/8” socket will not fit on a 10mm nut. There is also a slight difference between 9/16” and 14mm but usually they work in place of each other on new, non oxidized nuts.
ahhhhh haven't watched your videos in a solid 5 years, good that you popped back up in my recommended.
Hey Kip, what happened to that laser video you promised?
You used the speedout wrong. I use these at work all the time. You didn't drill deep enough and you have to apply considerable pressure at very slow speed on the extraction side. Also metric and SAE sizes are different enough that that tool is not going to be anything more than an emergency tool when you don't have a real set.
Like watching and saving money. You have the voice for this!
Thanks for watching!
4:56 "both metric and standard measurements" he acts like every country uses donuts per eagle
I live in country with metric but have to have a set of imperial tools because of American made parts and engines
@@Sandylouts580 good try except the british invented imperial
@@bmxscape yeah i know. What's with the 'nice try' I'm not trying to fool any one.
He wasn't acting like anything. Wtf are you talking about 🤣
@@J__C__ its called a J O K E
You should know what im talking about considering you are a joke
5:14 A KMart wrench, pretty rare LOL.
Speed-out works wonders, every time, if you use it correct that is....which you didn’t
No, it doesn't. I've tried using it in a professional setting. Had the same results he did, every time.
@@mike3667 he used it in reverese for both steps, which you arent suppose to do
I’ve had to use the speed out a handful of times and it has worked for me every time
I think you used the speed out wrong
I cant believe this you tube channel is still around
Woah, I haven't seen a Kipkay vid in my feed in months! Thanks UA-cam.
5:55 that's actually a BSA Folding military bicycle wrench that came in the tool pouch that it had during WWII. The bicycle was usually used for paratroopers
Lol you used the speed out all wrong.. I have a speed out set and it works 100%.
trick to the speed out is not to drill so deep and you need to use theright size for the screw your trying to getout that takes a few guess's till you have the knack for it i have the mastercraft version of the speed out and it works great if you dont over drill with the A part
"How much you wanna bet, I can throw a football over them mountains"😂😂 Alright, Uncle Rico
Speedout takes some finesse. After seeing that the small extractor wouldn't grab, don't re-drill with the next size up. Just use the extractor end.
You didn't drill out the screws enough for the speed out to grip enough for it to work. It needed more material to grab. I have one and it works great
yeah i have one as well and it works greats
I’ve used speed out multiple of times and never had a problem
Yeah because everytime you take out a screw you put it in forward
Me too.
Lol, the screw extractor works perfectly if you use it correctly. I’ve had one in my tool bag for years and I’ve removed stripped screws from metal and wood.
To remove the screw with the speed out you cut in reverse but remove in forward. It seems counter intuitive, but I assure you it works.
I needed a multi-cut cutting tool to open the package of my multi-cut cutting tool.
I haven't seen a Kipkay video since like 2008! So cool to see he's still around! I'm subscribed now
This was definitely a blast from the past when youtube suggested this video for me, it's been at least 6 years since i've seen on of his videos.
Thank you Nepoleon Dynamite reference!
I also have a Tiger Wrench. I keep it in the saddlebag of my motorcycle. A lot more convenient than having a full socket set. Good for emergencies.
You are doing the screw thing wrong with A side you have to spin it clockwise and B side you have to spin it counter clockwise
+moi moi 2 No the drill should be in Reverse rotation for both ends.
moi moi 2 I was literally yelling about it the whole video
Unless the screw/bot you're trying to remove has an anti-clockwise thread, then this tool won't work at all, no matter what direction you use it in.
@@kipkay my bad I didn't notice that
Just when I thought that your channel was good, you quoted Uncle Rico, proving that I was correct.
If you actually put some weight behind the bit and made actual grooves to catch on to, and then actually put weight on the drill to extract it, it's probably going to work a lot better..Instead, you're just feathering it and making metal flakes..
As a machinist I have used the speed out many times and find it to be one of the best stripped screw remover out there. Maybe you didn't quite use it right???
yup he didnt use it right
You have to apply pressure to the speed out. Works fine for me.
To be honest I forgot all about this channel since the last time I even saw it was in 2011
Speedouts work great, if you use them correctly. You get a big stinker for your fail.
This guy still makes videos? Last video I watched was some lighter hack like 13 years ago
HES ALIVVEEEE😱
I'll give a like for the Napolitan dynamite reference
I don't think you used the speed-out right .After you had a stripped out bolt your drill was drilling in the wrong direction so it did't cut the damaged bolt right.
the speedout bits worked for me, till i lost em
I miss the metacafe Kipkay
most amazing part of vid was that he owned a k-mart wrench
I have a speed out and it works well
I feel like kip Kay is stuck in 2012
*AIR HAWK REAL WORLD USE:* I have been using the Air Hawk handheld compressor thing for my car tires for multiple months now, consistently, every two or three days to fill one of my car tires up from about 12-22psi back up to 32psi, because I had a nail in one of my tires' sidewalls, so I knew it couldn't be fixed by a shop and I was just putting off getting new tires once I discovered the exact rate at which the tire lost air, and just started pumping it back up in 2-3 day intervals. So I bought the Air Hawk on a whim while I was in Rite Aid and thought, "you know, if I get even just a few weeks of use out of this I will be happy." It still works 100% to this day. I'm genuinely impressed, as I fully expected it to burn out by now. It does take a bit if the tire is very low or flat (if you have expectations of this cheap little thing being fast, you need to re-think your views on realistic expectations, plain and simple), but even from flat the battery has enough juice to get the tire pumped up to spec, and in my situation, beat the hell out of overpaying for compressed air at the gas station. During longer inflates, the top of it where the air is being rapidly compressed does get hot after a while, but like I said, nothing has burned out or melted yet. I definitely feel like I put it to much more use than it probably was designed for, so I'm pretty satisfied with the low-cost purchase I made from the As Seen On TV isle that day. Had low, realistic expectations but it definitely exceeded it
Obviously, your mileage may vary, and I do not condone driving your vehicle with unsafe tire pressures/conditions.
I recently finally got all four new tires, so now I just have it in my car for emergencies or easy filling of other air things.
finally a review that helps me choose to buy the air hawk been skeptic about getting one now I feel more confident getting one
matrodmedia li
Funny. I got the Air Hawk for Christmas, and had to use it yesterday when I discovered a flat tire. Razor blade in my tire, but the Hawk was able to give me enough air to get me to the tire store. Thumbs up from me!
You might want to re-do that Air Hawk test. The pump in it will not air up a flat that is still on the ground on the vehicle. If you lift the car on a jack you could probably refill a tire in 30 to 45 minutes. Maybe.
Did not expect the air hawk to actually be good.
You used the speed out wrong
Your Uncle Ricko reference was great.
Ive used the speed out bit before and had no problems on some pretty stripped screws
same
Dang KipKay is doing pretty good for himself, that’s a heck of a pool!
The uncle Rico nod got an instant like out of me. Well played sir.
I forgot about you
That “tiger wrench” is more commonly known as a bone wrench. I have one made by Craftsman and another by Kobalt, both are great! The Kobalt fits most styles of heads- hex, square etc, and there’s a slight bit of play but nothing much. One of my favorite tools!
hey kipkay, can you do a DYI video PLEASE I think many of us are waiting for you to make something like you did before. I think many people would love it if you did. make a robot or something you think would be cool. check other channels. Michael Reeves, William osmon look around and remakensomething
I'm one of those people waiting. But I've waited long enough.
I haven't watched this channel in forever
that multitool is ww2 era and is part of a kit used on scout paratrooper bikes
Cool, didn't know that. I have one that I got somehow when I was a kid. I always carried that around in a pouch on my bicycle along with a basic patch kit. Not exactly the same type of bike the paratroopers were probably using...lol. It still worked like a charm though.
@@101perspective yeah check out this show called pawn stars they happened to buy a bike off of this girl that had the set and everything.
Yes it's a bike tool - I had one myself like that - small and has the right size for most bike bolts
You sound like a mature Kermit the Frog
Nice, Napoleon Dynomite Uncle said that LOL. " How much do you wanna bet I can throw a football over those mountains"
**proceeds to throw meat slab at Napolean**
I have used the speed out bits on some screws in the past and had no issues getting the screws out, but the screws I had to get out had a smaller head than the one you were trying. I'm surprised they didn't work for your screw.
How long does the battery last on the airhawk?
Love the Uncle Rico reference at 3:23 :)
I use the speed out all of the time. It works great!
Operator error with the ez out.
Should've used the multi cutter to open up all those clam shell packages 😉
Wow - air hawk pro did an amazing job. Thanks for the product demonstration. I didn't care for the wrench or speed out tool that much. Great review.
The hole was way too big for the Speedout. I have used the Speedout a few times and it does work.
try the speed out with a big bolt head.
I ordered on Amazon a kit of very small drill bits and drill in the bolt. Once it's bitted in enough, I reverse to take it out. Works every times
Stripped screws are why I never use Phillips screws if I can help it. Robertson usually works better and doesn't slip as easily.
Drill into the screw Clockwise, then flip the bit and back the screw out in REVERSE...also the bolt was too long for the socket to sit around the nut, with that pointed out all the items on here are garbage. Cheers!
Nope. Why do people keep saying this? I own several sets of these, NONE use the bit in forward...NONE. It's counterintuitive. If you drill into the screw in forward it will also tighten it more making the extraction that much harder. Reverse drilling not only eliminates that but you also sometimes remove the screw during that step as well.
You have to press hard in the beginning using speed out
Someone just took some cheap Chinese dog bone wrench and engraved "tiger wrench" onto it. That's crazy.
Awesome tip about the dremel tool and flathead screwdriver.
@3:24 Clapping hands for the Uncle Rico reference.
Tom Brady needs an air hawk pro....
How much do you want to bet I can throw this football over them mountains,
Napoleon dynamite reference good movie
I got the air hawk and it’s great accept the rechargeable battery is not to strong and after a year the battery is so weak it keeps shutting off but they give you the cigarette lighter adapter cable and that makes it run really fast
yeah on the screw remover you went way to shallow keep it going
kipkay that OG UA-cam homie.
Anyone else blown away by the Kmart 3/8 wrench?
Bring back the cat intros lol
I usually use a rubber band on bad screws. It gives the screwdriver enough grip to get most out. ;)
3:24 ok, Uncle Rico
You used the speed out wrong.
Bloody Bum yeah, he has to apply pressure, mine work like a dream, haven’t had them fail yet and I have been using them for years, well not the seen on TV set but a very similar set, look exactly the same
The Speed Out is garbage. I tried using it in professional setting on a Stainless Steel screw. The bit couldn't handle drilling into the screw. Tried all sizes. Pretty much had the same results as he did.
he didnt use the speed out correctly.
Did not use the screw extractor correct...
I was looking for this reply, otherwise i would have written it.
You are right, used correctly it is a very clever tool.
@@willd6515 what did he do wrong it's two simple steps drill a,and extract b.
@@filibertobarrera3839 looks like he didnt use the right size one.
