I caught a blue moon in Ocean City Maryland my captain cottage smoked it was a very good eating fish smoked
I think Roberts stroke helped him appreciate Austin even a little more. Dude definitely stepped up and helped out a ton when everything was uncertain. He’s just a down to earth good guy and friend, you can tell.
Not just during my stroke. Austin and I spent a lot of time together and he’s like a family member!! He and I can go film a show and never say a word to each other. He’s a great guy! We have a great friendship!
@@deermeatfordinner it’s evident that you guys are close. Tragic situations always bring people closer. Just seems like even since then you guys have grown closer. Sometimes situations like those just make you reevaluate things and see who’s important in life. I got diagnosed with cancer a few years back and it sure made me appreciate people in my life more.

This is where I am from!! I live in Florida now and just returned from a trip to Curacao a few days ago. I met a guy on the plane on the way back that lives in Jupiter, Florida and I was telling him about your channel, not realizing you were on your way down to Curacao!! Amazing!!!

Way to go Austin....I screwed up and threw a fly to one last summer that was hot on a teaser and 30 min latter I was questioning myself and finding out iam not the ply young man I used to be. That fish took me to the limit. Happy to say got a clean release and a tag In a approximately 250 blue.. Then an hr latter released a 400 lber on stand up. I was not right for a week.

Im 59 and spent all my life fishing the Chesapeake bay and the ocean. Never had the opportunity to catch a marlin or eat it .I wonder what it taste like . Might never know. I guess thats how rare it is . Good job guys. This video hit me right where I like it. The heart.

It hurts so good Austin! Great job. When I was younger I caught a 450lb. Blue Marlin had a nice reel but fought it in a fold out chair an had no belt. Hour an a half later it also died an me an the wife gave it to an orfanage an the little kids got to come see me in the boat before we cleaned her. It was sad after it died but We got to see some very happy kids an teachers.
