Use a Paracer for the host, it gives 90% of the stat, theyre also very common so its easy to find a high level one, and rhynio's for some reason reeeeaaally like attacking them, so itll keep agro. Also, give it a stack of cakes to keep it alive better
me and my homies tried to tame one but no matter what it wouldnt impregnate the trike we used 3 pheramones and it only attacked it and we ended up killing it because we had no more pheramones
Are you playing on a server? In my experience, depending on the server lag the rhynio will take longer to impregnate. From what I know, the rhynio only impregnates when it is doing its ranged attacks and on a laggy server the rhynio does much less ranged attacks. Best advice I can give is to try in mornings when there are less people online so less lag.
The health and food starts depleting as soon as the host creature is impregnated. The health will gradually drain to 0 as the incubation reaches 100%. I have heard sometimes the host will starve to death instead of birthing so make sure to forcefeed the host a lot of food about 10 seconds before birth

I'm on switch and it's health continues to decrease at the same rate even though it's being healed with an owl or tek phase pistol. I've done this twice already. Luckily I had a tribe mate heal the pregnant rex while I force fed it meat to keep its health up. My first attempt was with a wyv with 21k health and it was about to die if it weren't for my tribe mates help healing it while I force fed it. Also it starves pretty fast even though I had four tek feeding troughs filled with meat. I had to say online for 7hours and 55mins so that I force fed it and it won't starve losing more health. I think the switch version of the Rhyniognatha is bugged. Lol

The baby will still come out but it will have a reduced level

Sounds about right. Pteranodons are so weak anyway, even if they are breed to a higher level like 200 and cannot carry very much weight.

For sure! That is bugged. It really doesn't matter if you play on Switch, or official server, the game is buggy.

Oh dear, this is not a taming process. It is a different way to get something rare, a bug. The rest is about maturing the bug.

Do PC and Xbox has render distance issues with Dinos? I’m on PS5 and you have to practically be in the Dinos butt for it to render
I play on PC only, but I think consoles are locked to low-graphics, so render distance is bad and probably unchangeable
Im on ps5 and do not have these render issues. Did you tweak any settings or have you recently cleared cache?

Yeah Xbox has the render issues too not sure of pc also they said they were working to fix it soon
The render distance was lowered due to performance issues its the same on pc xbox and ps5
