Atleast the kia is done, I did the springs before with those spring clamps..... does feel dodgy as fook but it works and if cash is tight, very doable at home. Not sure what's up with Agatha but if you whip off the drive shaft, you'll have a better idea of what is wrong with it, nice shed to work in, so can be done abit at a time 😊👍🇮🇪
I had a bit of a knock on the drivers side and it was a brake pad that was moving about. There was also a bit of play on my shock absorbers and changed both so they wear evenly. I even painted them before the garage put them on.
Nice one Rick, cheers, glad that Agatha’s wheels weren’t about to fall off 😁 Is a bit of a mystery though with that noise, as you said though you will have to take the joint off to take a closer look at it. Seems a simple job changing rear shocks, personally I despise working under any car, I have a phobia of it. It’s suprising with some cars, especially cheaper cars how proper servicing falls by the wayside, when you’r looking for a used car so many are probably overdue their cambelt for example, oil gets changed and that’s it.
@@AgathaAndAnything That’s good, I tend to go for cars or vans I know have a cam chain, you usually know if a chain needs changing, it’s gets very noisy. Belt’s just snap as you know, without any warning. My van has a belt but I have proof it was changed recently.
Been a busy chap Ric, he must be thorough if he found an inch off the bottom of a spring and now you know the car is ok too.
Yeah he’s a good chap, not too dear really.

No shocks on this but could possibly be brakes as it is dragging a little mmm as I said I need more time to check

Luckily the Venga is a chain and has no service schedule
